The Space:

Experience a Best of the West Galveston property with Salty Sunset Oasis, a luxurious 3-bedroom, 3-bath bayside retreat offering stunning, unobstructed views of the bay. Located just a short drive from the beach and the Pointe West Beach Club, this condo is the perfect blend of relaxation, comfort, and convenience.



THE ELEVATOR IS CURRENTLY BEING REPLACED. EXPECTED TO BE FINISHED MAY 15, 2026.



Inside, you’ll find a modern, fully equipped kitchen and flat-screen TVs in the living room, sitting room, and all three bedrooms. The primary bedroom features a king bed and an ensuite bathroom, the second bedroom offers a queen bed with its own ensuite, and the third bedroom has a twin over full. An additional pull-out sofa in the sitting area accommodates two more guests. The condo comes complete with a washer/dryer, bed linens for all beds, and bath and pool towels.



Step onto the expansive private balcony to enjoy peaceful views of the bay and the nearby bird sanctuary—home to Roseate Spoonbills, Egrets, and Herons. Sip a glass of wine, snap some photos, and take in unforgettable sunsets from your own outdoor oasis. Leave your worries behind… this is your Salty Sunset Oasis.



Pet Friendly: This home welcomes up to 2 dogs (combined weight up to 100 lbs). $150 pet fee applies.



Pointe West is an exclusive resort community located on the western tip of Galveston Island. Its beaches are pristine, professionally groomed, and utterly free of vehicular traffic, creating a peaceful coastal escape. The main clubhouse features a stunning infinity-edge pool, hot tub, children’s pool, cabanas, grills, gift shop, fitness center with locker rooms, and a game room. On the bayside, the Sunset Pool offers a relaxing lazy river, hot tub, fire pit, and both gas and charcoal grills for guest use.



Enjoy on-site amenities such as the pool bar and restaurant*, s’mores by the Sunset Pool, kids’ crafts, and live entertainment. An activity schedule will be provided upon booking, or you can view dates and times on the Pointe West Beach Club website.



What We Provide:

When you stay in a Best of the West home, all you need to bring are your clothes, sunscreen, food, and yourself! We supply all essential consumables for your stay, including:

• Paper towels, toilet paper

• Large & small trash bags

• Dish soap, dishwasher detergent

• Laundry detergent, hand soap

• Coffee, creamer, sweetener, coffee filters

• First aid kit

• A luggage cart to make loading and unloading easy

Guest Access:

You will be provided the door code, wifi code, and all other check-in information 2 days before check-in.



The Neighborhood:

***AMENITIES FEE: Please note that you will need to obtain a wristband and access code from the Pointe West Beach Club to take full advantage of the community facilities (pools, gym, clubhouse game room, Basketball, and Pickleball courts). They charge $25 per guest 4 years old and older and are good for the entire length of your stay. This fee will be paid directly to the Beach Club upon registration.



(You will receive an email from the Pointe West POA to prepay the resort fee. The primary guest on your reservation will need to show an ID at the Beach Club Office to pick up the wristbands and parking passes.) *** Fees increased to $25/per person in 2023. The fee is not mandatory. If you do not plan to use the pools and other amenities during your stay, you do not have to purchase the wristbands, but you will need to get parking passes from the Beach Club. You can get free wristbands for use of the restaurant and bar.



The Pointe West Beach Club is a separate entity from Best of the West Galveston. Best of the West Galveston cannot guarantee the availability of any of the Beach Club’s amenities. Check the Pointe West Beach Club’s website for details.***

Getting Around:

You are only approximately 30 minutes from downtown Galveston, Schlitterbahn, Moody Gardens, the new Pleasure Pier, and all the other great attractions of Galveston.



Other Things to Note:

**Elevators, WIFI, and cable can be unreliable on West Galveston Island. We apologize, but Best of the West can not guarantee these amenities will be working during your stay at Pointe West and we are unable to offer refunds for disruption of these services.**
