Beachfront Views without the Beachfront Prices!

This recently refurbished family friendly beach house is just a hop, skip and a jump from a magnificent stretch of beautiful beach - that is not crowded. That would be about a 7 iron for an average golfer, in case you're wondering. Not a golfer? How about the distance from home plate to centerfield or a little over the length of a football field? Pretty darn close in other words!

Once you arrive you can drop anchor, relax, unwind and start enjoying beautiful sunsets and sunrises at your leisure. Who needs a noisemaker when you can watch and hear the waves from almost everywhere in the house? There are vacant lots on both sides of the property so you don't have to worry about neighbors that are too close for comfort.

There are no uncomfortable sofa beds here, even the little ones get big beds in this house! The ginormous kid friendly bunk room upstairs sleeps 6 comfortable with two twin bunk beds and one full over full bunk bed. There is a bathroom with a shower on this upstairs level. The upstairs also has a walk out deck for ocean and star gazing.
The downstairs has 2 bedrooms. The guest room sleeps 4 with a queen bed and a set of twin bunk beds. The master bedroom is private with a king bed and an ocean view.

Open doors to the dining room and eat al fresco- looking at the ocean! The kitchen has a large pantry, coffee maker and Keurig along with all the other necessities. The kitchen is well stocked to prepare and eat comfortably every meal during your stay.

Wifi enabled Smart TVs in living area and bedrooms allow you to log in to your favorite streaming service. Please note: Internet access can be spotty at times due to the location on the island.

The downstairs space has a charcoal grill for the catch of the day! There is a 3rd full bathroom on the ground for a shower after a fun day at the beach. This shower is very special in that it has hot water too! There is a communal pool and access to paddle boat, kayak launch a couple of blocks toward bay for bay side activities. The pavilion in Terramar is also known for its amazing sunsets!!

We are starting off the season with some boogie boards, noodles, little person life vests, pool toys, and beach toys. We hope that they will be around and usable for your visit but cannot guarantee it. Equipment may get left at the beach or broken.

This special beach house is located on the West End of Galveston Island. Get groceries on your way in or have your Shipt delivered. You are about 15-20 minutes out of town but definitely worth the quiet beaches and calm island vibe. Historic Galveston, the Strand, shopping and dining along the seawall, along with a variety of outdoor activities are available for you to enjoy. Galveston also has Moody Gardens, a Golf Course and Schlitterbahn Waterpark. Galveston is also rich in naval history, museums and monuments. Head east to ride the ferry to eat at Stingaree's, and see Bolivar and/or Crystal Beach.
