We chose this property because we have a golden retriever. The backyard was perfect for her, although being woken up at 830am on a Wednesday by a lawn mower wasn't that great because we had zero idea they had lawn maintenance scheduled during our stay. Besides the absolute lack of communication from our host, who I messaged more than once during our stay with zero answers to my questions- it took us forever to figure out how to work the thermostat and turn on the heater; the house was freezing when we arrived due to a cold front in Galveston during spring break, the breaker to the dryer was turned off (not sure why) so we had to fix that, we could not find any extra sheets for the pull out couch in the living room, the back deck had many uneven boards (tripping hazard), the doors didnt close properly, including the front and back doors, the main bathroom didn't have a vent, and the garage door was broken. The location was 10/10 but would not stay here again, sorry!

We were attending a sporting event for our kids at the nearby Galveston Island Convention Center. This location was absolutely perfect - it was so close by. We loved having our own space, with a kitchen, etc. This made the weekend much more comfortable for us than a hotel would have. The best part was we were able to bring our dog! The backyard is massive and had ample room for our Springer Spaniel to run and play. We had everything we needed and would absolutely stay here again! Thank you!

Great place to stay and a great location, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, washer and dryer available as well, this is a per friendly house with a nice fenced in back yard with adequate space.

first of all, I would like to say check in was very easy and instructions were clear emailed to me and we did not have a problem. House was very, very clean and organized. I could tell they had the touch of a woman the way it was decorated. The only problem we had was a three-quarter bath toilet was plugged. We got hold of the connect team and they promptly sent somebody out there to snake it. His name was Dave. He did leave rust rings inside the toilet that will have to be taken off with a pumice stone because they are not going away. The cleaning service does a very good job except for on some of the furniture and appliances. I know there is still some leftover dirt from previous occupants. The property is also in need of extermination, we did not have a problem, but I did notice a few roaches in the kitchen area.

There were some maintenance issues. Back door is warped, can not use the deadbolt lock. Back deck has a dry rotted board, last board before you step down into the yard, shower pipe is hanging out of the wall, needs to be secured,House is cute inside, just needs a little tic

The weather was perfect. the two chairs in the living room were no safe to use, one had a broken leg and the other had a leg that felt like it was going to break. I did reply to the check in text informing the host but never heard back from them. The kitchen was not very well stocked with basic items. The ice maker didn't work. there were several other things that needed attention . All in all we did enjoy our stay.

Perfect for what we needed!

We went to Galveston for the Lone Star Rally. We needed a nice, clean place close
but not too close to the Strand. We wanted convenience without the noise. This was a very clean, nicely decorated home with all the necessities. The neighborhood was quiet and we were respectful of others as well. Plenty of room for two couples as the one bathroom and half bath gave opportunity for toilet use if the shower was being used. We willl be back!

There were a free things that needed to pork but overall, we loved it! My pups enjoyed the fenced in yard. We loved having two bedrooms and a washer and dryer. It really came in handy to keep towels clean from the beach!

Great little house

Was as advertised, great place to stay for anyone but especially if you have a dog, the back yard much larger then I was expecting, only a couple blocks off of 61st street so easy in and out, they provide much more than we used, in the garage they have chairs for beach, bikes, ice chest and much more, coffee provided and all earning and cooking utensils, I recommend and would stay again

I had some issues with checkin due to vrbo itself and not the property It did take 15 minutes to reach property manager to resolve issue to checkin Place is very quiet and clean They use air fresheners that I do not care for but everything else was beautifully decorated and comfortable even offering snacks and a great assortment of coffees

Good family staycation

Since I couldn’t get my money back after hurricane Beryl came through, we figured we might as well go and stay at this house we booked! We had a good time. The home was nice, perfect size for us. Me, husband, 4 yr old and 10 month old. The mosquitoes were horrendous so we didn’t utilize the outside area at all! The backyard patio cover was falling apart anyways, I’m guessing after the storm 
.?? The actual house itself was nice, bedding comfy and clean, NO dishwasher! But the laundry appliances were nice and they supplied detergent. Thermostat was a problem! I keep mine at home at 71 and every time I would turn it down, I would look and it would be back up! It was a “smart thermometer” so I’m guessing someone else could control the temp. I wanted to be comfortable
 I felt like I was fighting the thermostat lol. Honestly the home was nice and it met our needs overall.
