Our pools are open ALL YEAR and one is HEATED. There are two hot tubs on the property as well.

Welcome to "Good Day Sunshine" at the best beach in Galveston! We have done a renovation of our cozy condo and have included all the things we have loved finding when traveling over the years with our three kids, with friends, or as a couple. I hope you will enjoy our full kitchen, private furnished patio with a gorgeous view of the heated pool, the beach and Gulf of Mexico, and our bright, cheerful, and modern decor. We are in the heart of the island and near the best local food and attractions. We provide quality beach chairs, umbrella, cooler bag, beach towels, lots of beach and pool toys, and a wagon to carry it all. Stay here in the heart of Galveston, close to everything! Walk to the convention center, grocery, and Walmart for last minute supplies. We also offer extended stay, secure parking if you stay with us before or after your cruise!

We have a queen bedroom with a wall-mount tv. Here you will find drawers for storing your items and a closet rod for hanging clothes. There's a lighted make up mirror, hairdryer, and some space for your own items. On the upper shelves you will find the complete linen sets for either the pull out queen sofa or twin ottoman as well as extra pillows and pillowcases. You will also find a laundry bag with supplies, and an ironing board and iron, although I hope you don't need to use these on your visit :)

In the bunk alcove, each bunk has its own reading light and outlet with USB chargers. For daytime nappers or early bedtimes, there are blackout curtains that will help to make this a cozy space. There is a remote control with an auto shutoff timer that controls the fairy lights.

In the living room, you will find a comfy sofa (sleeps two, or possibly three littles along the long side) and leather ottoman (sleeps one) that both fold out to beds. I wouldn't suggest trying to use both at the same time because it would be very tight. There are a couple of stools tucked under the tv if you need additional seating. You will find games, DVDs, and a few of my favorite Galveston books in the cabinet.

We have provided two Tommy Bahama beach chairs and a large beach umbrella, as well as a large beach sheet and beach towels. There is also a large wagon and cooler bag for your use.

In the adjoining kitchen, you will find a dining table with seating for four and a full sized fridge/ freezer with a filtered ice maker and a Brita pitcher for filtered water, dishwasher, stovetop, and countertop over/air fryer. We have stocked it with lots of what you may need for cooking, including pots and pans, some basic cooking spices, and everything that you will need for making great coffee.

You can pack light because we provide quality body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. I will also have a first-aid kit and will try to keep stocked up on some extras in case you forget something but Walmart is across the street just in case there's anything else you need. The bathroom is also stocked with fluffy white bath towels and washcloths.

For stays of 1 to 7 nights, there is a one-time $35 facility fee (increasing to $40 March 1) payable at the front office which covers secure gated parking for up to two vehicles, free wifi, and arm bands for access to the onsite pools and spas. For stays 8 or more nights, the fee is $70 (increasing to $80 March 1). ***If you are not bringing a car, please let me know! ***The facility/ parking charge is a one-time fee, NOT per night.

If you’re staying with us before a cruise, you can leave up to two vehicles parked in our gated parking lot while you’re away. Uber or Lyft can pick you up and drop you right at the cruise terminal. There's no extra charge to leave your car while you cruise; only the one-time facility charge of $35 or $70 depending on the number of days.
