This is a beautiful beachfront resort, especially the entryway & lobby area. We arrived later than expected late at night, & the front desk clerk was super nice & accommodating. We stayed 2 nights because we were going on a cruise. Although the room was spacious & had a balcony, for the money we paid, the rooms could have used a lot of updating & touch-up on finishes. We randomly had a leak coming from the ceiling, & water was everywhere. Maintenance arrived within a decent time & fixed the problem. The swimming pool/bar was beautiful scenery; however, while swimming with my family, we noticed a resident mouse several times running out under the lawn chairs where people were sitting, food/drinks, & their personal items were near. It came out & would run back in hiding. My husband told one of the bartenders near, & she nonchalantly said, “We are near the beach, we can’t really control that!“ Umm, as a guest that stayed 2 nights & paid over $700, I do not want to see mice running around the swimming pool!! Set traps, get an exterminator! That was definitely off putting! Other than that, we loved the beach was across the street, complimentary bike rentals to ride along the beach & RainForest Cafe was in walking distance along with other food places and shops. Also, we loved the option of activities for guest. They had movie night, one night they played Little Mermaid, & the next night out of all things, Ratatouille. One day they had s'mores in the lobby. I would stay here again.
