I’ve stayed at this resort many times, but this was by far my worst experience. The first night, our AC was not working and the room stayed at 77 degrees. I had a baby with me, and the only solution offered was a fan that just blew hot air.
The next day, I requested maintenance while we were out so the room would be cool when we returned — no one came, and the room was still extremely hot. After calling again, a mechanic finally came up and immediately confirmed the AC was bad. We were moved to another room, which took more time and stress out of an already uncomfortable situation.
Then on the morning of checkout, the room alarm started going off, only to be told it was a “false alarm” and triggered on the wrong side of the building.
Between the broken AC, multiple service failures, room relocation, and alarm disruption, this stay was completely unacceptable — especially traveling with a baby. The only compensation offered was comped parking, which does not come close to making up for the experience.
Very disappointing, and not the level of service I’ve come to expect from this resort.
