Chateau 107 is a ground-floor condo at Gatlinburg Chateau. Two bedrooms, a king bed in each, and a bathroom for each of them, so four people can get out the door in the morning without taking turns.
The living room is simple and comfortable, with a TV and enough room to spread out after a day of walking. The kitchen is a real kitchen. You can cook a proper dinner in it rather than reheat one. There's air conditioning for August, a fireplace for the cooler months, and a desk in the corner if work follows you down here.
The patio faces the mountains and gets the morning sun. It's the kind of spot where you sit longer than you meant to with a cup of coffee, before anybody has decided what the day looks like.
Ground floor also means the car sits a few steps from the door, so groceries and luggage come in without stairs. Parking is free and on site.
In the evening you can walk into town. There's sidewalk the whole way, lit after dark, down to the restaurants and shops along the Parkway. The walk down is easy; coming back is a short climb. This is a hilly part of Gatlinburg, and that's the trade for being this close in.
The entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is about ten minutes away, so you can be on a trail early and back here for lunch. There's a shared pool on the property for the warm months, and your reservation includes free admission to area attractions, one for each day you're here.
One thing to know: the pool and the parking lot belong to the HOA rather than to us. The pool is seasonal and closes now and then, and the lot can get tight when the building is full.
Two king beds, two bathrooms, no stairs, and downtown at the bottom of the hill. That's what this condo is good at.
Your stay includes $940.00 in complimentary activities. Just by booking with us, you’ll receive free tickets, every day of your stay to top activities like Dollywood, Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, and more. (One free admission per activity, per day)
