Our experience was unfortunately very disappointing.
The problems started at checkin.
our card didn’t work for the deposit, and instead of offering an alternative or explaining where we could withdraw cash, we were simply told that we couldn’t stay without a deposit. We also received no information at all. Not about where our room was located, nor about the spa or other facilities. Breakfast was neither offered nor mentioned at checkin, which was also disappointing.
The room was equally disappointing: very small, dirty, and uninviting. The floor was dirty, the lighting was very dim, and overall everything looked poorly maintained. At night, there was no light in the staircase, which was both unpleasant and unsafe.
The staff appeared unmotivated and unfriendly. During checkout, the deposit of 200 CHF was not mentioned at all we only received it back after asking about it. When we left our luggage there to visit a nearby thermal bath and politely asked for a towel (which we would have returned), our request was refused. When we came back to pick up our luggage, the staff again were unfriendly no “goodbye” or “thank you.”
Overall, not a hotel we would recommend.
