The space
The home is located just East of Georgetown on a 5 acre parcel that was established inn 1984 as a local produce market and you dig flower farm. Each year the Owner's Mother planted over 10,000 mums where each Fall locals and customer's would come from as far as Northern VA, Washington DC and parts of PA to dig her beautiful mums. The home has been completely renovated with some family heirlooms and a Coastal Farmhouse decor. You will see on the site a tractor which was used on her Father's farm and subsequently on the Flower Farm. It is a 1945 Super A Farmall and it still runs. Presently the farm portion of the property is tilled by a local farmer with soybeans in season. There are walking and bicycle paths in front of the property that connect to Sandhill Fields with beautiful walking trails. On weekends you will find soccer and lacrosse teams playing there often with local Hispanic food being offered.
