Charming home in the heart of downtown Glen Arbor. This two bedroom, one bathroom cottage style home was originally built in the 1950's, but was fully remodeled 4 years ago. The first bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a queen bed, there's a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, and the home can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people with the sleeper sofa. Linens and towels are provided, there is air conditioning and heat, and a drip coffee maker and Keurig in the kitchen. There were also brand new mattresses put in the home in September of 2022! There is also new bedding, rugs, and a new smart TV. The dining area has a table with two chairs, and there are two additional folding chairs in a bedroom closet. The patio table outside seats four. This home is located directly across from the Glen Arbor Town Park, is only two blocks to Lake Michigan, several blocks from Glen Lake, and you can walk everywhere in town! Restaurants, galleries, shops, the grocery store and bars are all right around the corner! Glen Arbor sits in the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, and the famed Dune Climb and Pierce Stocking Drive are a short 5 mile drive. Hiking, biking, boating, skiing (water and snow), wine tours, beer tours, and so much more are available for recreational fun! Or, visit one of our other charming small towns on the Leelanau Peninsula, such as Leland, Northport, Suttons Bay, Omena and Lake Leelanau for day trips! We're also a convenient 30-45 minute drive to Traverse City and its airport, festivals, and shopping. There's no better place for summers at the beach, fall leaf tours, winter snowshoeing and cross country skiing, and spring cherry blossoms. Let us host you in this beautiful part of the country! We have an established rental history, and can't wait to have you as our guests. Two cars maximum allowed in the driveway in front of the home. All other cars to be parked in downtown Glen Arbor. *Bluebird has been rented for the last four years on VRBO to rave reviews, but we now have a new account due to the sale of our company! Bluebird will now be our one and only property to rent, and we look forward to exceeding your expectations!* THIS PROPERTY RENTS FOR FULL WEEKS ONLY FROM FRIDAY-FRIDAY IN THE SUMMERTIME! If we have a last minute opening, we may rent for a smaller period of time. Fall and winter typically have a 2-3 night minimum. Our guests always have first right of refusal to the same week/time period the following year, so we don't know until their departure if that current week is available.
