Surfside Retreat is a fully renovated beach house in a quiet street in Gnarabup, Margaret River. The interior is all brand new with modern furniture to match. The house has everything you want for a quintessential beachside family holiday down south. It’s just 800m to Gnarabup swimming beach and café, and 5 minutes to world class surf breaks. For those active souls, tackling the iconic Cape to Cape walk, the track can be accessed 1km away, making Surfside Retreat an ideal start, end, or stop off point on your journey. Margaret River township and wineries are also minutes away, so it’s a great location for a holiday, all year round.
The Space
Through the front door off the verandah, you enter the home into the freshly renovated, generous sized, open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The living area is light and bright with wood fire place, smart TV, and comfortable seating for family and friends to gather. Through large sliding doors, you’ll access the wrap around verandah and north facing deck area. There you’ll find a large bbq and outdoor dining table perfect for entertaining and relaxing under a canopy of peppi trees.
The kitchen is brand new and has all the mod-cons to make any homecook happy. For those who prefer to eat out while on holiday the White Elephant cafe and The Common bistro are just a short walk down the road.
The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat at the back of the house with king bed, TV, access to the deck and stunning brand new ensuite bathroom that has shower, toilet and vanity. The 2nd bedroom is down the hall, with queen bed, huge wardrobe and neutral, beachy finishes. At the front of the house, off the living area is the bunk room with two king single beds. The main bathroom has a shower and vanity and there is separate powder-room with toilet and vanity. The laundry includes new washer and dryer and has access to outside, down a set of stairs to the gorgeous back yard.
The garden area is lovely, with a large grassed area and swing in the peppi tree. Please note the boundary of the property is not fenced which adds to the holiday feel, however the house and entertaining areas are private and peaceful, perfect for backyard cricket or relaxing in the shade
There is parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles. There is an Electric Vehicle Charger, free for guests use.
Surfside Retreat has a great holiday home vibe, and we are sure you’ll be happy here with the mix of brand new beachy interiors within timber cottage charm. Have your morning swim at Gnarabup beach, check the surf at Main Break, head for coffee at White Elephant, lunch at The Common and an evening glass of wine and BBQ on the deck…it will be easy to slip into holiday mode at Surfside Retreat.
