Beautiful house in a beautiful location

We travelled with another family and really enjoyed our stay. The house was beautiful and clean. The little extras like soap, shampoo and conditioner, clothes was great. We were also welcomed with a small gift. Everything was so closw to where we were staying. Foodland and woolworths were only 3 mins drive. Also lots of board games for the kids and adults.The owners always replied to my messages. Great service.Will definitely book here again

Relaxing getaway with everything you need!

This property offered us a sense of serenity. Close to the water, cafes and shops but soooo quiet and private. Spotlessly clean and well stocked, we felt at home instantly! Girls getaway

Unbelievable accommodation and location No grass out back but that’s ok. Perfect for a girls getaway Best breakfast at bombora on the river which was a little walk away. The property owners so nice and the accommodation had so much included like body wash in gorgeous showers towels all bed linen included. So good can’t be more grateful

Quality home and great host. Another great holiday at Alana's!

We've been holidaying at this home for a few years now and love it! It's clean, well maintained, comfortable and well equipped. I'm always impressed with how comfortable the mattresses are. I have a bad back, but have no problems sleeping here. During our recent stay we noticed some additional modifications that would be great for the summer time. The hosts have installed an outdoor motorised shade/fly screen for the balcony bbq area. They've also added plantation shutters to both the downstairs bedrooms. Alana is a great host too. Easy to communicate with and answers questions promptly. She's also happy to share local knowledge about Goolwa. We always leave this home feeling well rested and happy with our stay. Thanks Alana!

Very clean & peaceful

As a frequent house hirer it’s often hard to relax on arrival. I usually need to give a through clean before I can enjoy. Goolwa south was spotless even the windows were clean (last place I couldn’t see out of). The property had a lovely homey feel, the kids enjoyed the games as did we the welcome gift, it was a personalised touch. Location was great, we often hire on the river which has a lot of traffic. Although there is no water views, the trade off it’s so quite & calm. The pure tap is a welcomed addition as SA water is not the best to drink. Heaters and blinds outside are a great feature, we had a great time. Only thing I missed (I may not have found) espresso cups for the kindly supplied coffee machine & a waste basket/bin downstairs. We are looking to returning soon for another stay.

Perfect Stay

Second short stay at this great accommodation. Everything is clean, tidy and comfortable. Little extras are appreciated. Not the best weather, but house was warm with lots of board games to play. Will certainly return when we can.

We loved the house was a great lay out for 3 couples nice and warm lots of windows plenty of parking great balcony and we would love to come back in the summer if it's available to make better use of the balcony . Would have been good to have a couple of overhead heaters out on the balcony . Short walk to the restaurant on the river . Overall very happy !

Great Third Stay

This was our third stay at this property and once again we were very happy with the property features and presentation. Toasting marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit is a big hit with the kids. Alana is a great host.
