Clean & Comfortable But 4 Queens Misleading

This home could not have been cleaner and is thoughtfully provisioned (soft towels, room-darkening drapes) with an appealing location a short walk to town. One hitch: It does not sleep 8 or provide 4 queen sleeping spaces, and would be more accurately listed as having 2 queen beds and 1 high quality queen air bed. There is no way the enormous beanbag chair should count as a viable sleeping space. As 5 adults (3 singles), we were forced to make do. The pool table was a hit. We regret that with a busy Elon graduation weekend we weren’t able to take more advantage of the terrific outdoor space.

Private back yard space with the string lights was perfect for our family! The thoughtful details were much appreciated - from the well stocked kitchen and coffee bar to the firewood and fire starters to high end towels and toiletries. Bedrooms are spacious and the home was very comfortable! We had a great stay!

Pros and Cons

I like leaving practical reviews for others to know more about the property when booking. Pros: —cute vibe, old house dressed up vintage cute—enough space with one decent size bathroom, other bathroom is functional but pretty tiny. —good parking, off the street —easy communication and not a problem getting in—had a few nice amenities like coffee pods/grounds for keurig or coffee pot and even creamer in fridge which is nice for a short stay —Enough linens, comfortable bedsCons: -I would say the neighborhood is up and coming so not the greatest but close enough to the little square downtown to be do-able—they have two queen beds, and one great queen air mattress, but the listing says it sleeps 8…the last “bed” is a giant beanbag. It could sleep a toddler if necessary but it wouldn’t fit an adult. I would stay here again if we were in the area and while we didn’t get to explore because we were just there for a wedding, the city of Graham looks pretty cute.

Great Spot

This home in Graham is adorable, well appointed, clean and comfortable. The location near city center allowed us to enjoy the fantastic local restaurants and shops. Walking to some is possible. It's a lovely little city. It's,also,centrally located for easy drives to areas like Raleigh and Greensboro.

Clean and well appointed. A little concerned at first with tape over front door window. Turns out the window was intact so no biggie. Dog friendly with fenced in back yard and Evan had special towels for muddy paws. Nice stay overall.

Really enjoyed the stay !

Very nice home. Very comfortable and cozy. Recommend you do some research on the pizza oven as my attempt was fun but as far as culinary quality a complete failure. Hot tub was great after a long day. Would definitely stay here again

Charming

Charming and beautifully decorated. Had the needed amenities. Check in and out was easy. We were happy to be able to bring our dogs, the fenced in large backyard was great. The house is very close to the downtown area where there were lots of restaurant options.

Not what I expected

I had high expectations for my stay at this property based on the positive reviews and appealing photos, but my experience did not fully meet those expectations. Upon check-in, I noticed that the property did not look as bright or clean as depicted in the photos. There were noticeable dog hairs throughout, which stuck to my socks, and the overall cleanliness could have been improved.The kitchen was equipped with very basic cookware, which was not up to the standard of other properties I’ve stayed at under the same price point. Some items, like the pans and spatulas, were worn out, and the glasses and plates were not clean upon arrival. While the host did send someone to clean the floors after I raised concerns, the response to my request for better kitchen items was less helpful. For example, when I asked for a suitable spatula, I was advised to use a large metal one meant for the BBQ, which I found impractical.I would suggest that the host invest in better cookware and utensils to enhance the cooking experience for guests and implement stricter cleaning measures, especially for properties where pets are allowed.On a positive note, the house is conveniently located near Graham Town, which is a nice area to visit, although the neighboring houses felt a bit less secure.

Small town charmer

This property captures the small town feel and Southern hospitality experience. Close enough to walk to the town square and still a comfortable, quiet and calm place to sleep. This home is central enough to get to everywhere we wanted to go and comfortable enough to just stay and "sit a spell". The host made checking in and staying easy.

Graham Visit

First time renting a house. Great experience for us. Aubrey answered all questions (probably more than usual since it was our first time) very quickly. Took our dog and house was great for her as well. House was clean and pretty much looked exactly like on line pictures. Very clean and bright. Close to Main Street so we walked our dog down there daily. Shops on Main Street are cute and dog friendly. Everyone in town was very nice. Would definitely recommend this home and the town of Graham.

What a Gem!

We were in Graham for a wedding and loved our stay! The yard is awesome, the house is roomy and well stocked, and we loved the decor. We walked to downtown everyday and found some really cool little breweries ans shops. If we are ever in Graham again we would stat here!

A lovely home with a great kitchen

We had a very positive experience at this home. The host was responsive and flexible. The open and well-appointed kitchen allowed us to stay in for a couple of nights and cook for ourselves. We also enjoyed the games that were provided as well as the lovely patio and fenced backyard. The copious lightning bugs at dusk were a big plus, too. The Graham town square was within walking distance. We enjoyed browsing in the shops, restaurants, outdoor outfitter, artisan gallery, and local brewery. It was a really special place for a family gathering. I highly recommend it.
