Please be prepared before beginning your drive to the mountains! Four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles are highly recommended. Although the main roads are usually plowed well, many residential areas require traversing steep hills on dirt roads that are not as maintained. Keep in mind that chain and traction laws for non-commercial vehicles can be put into effect at any time. We do not advise driving Berthoud Pass in a front-wheel drive vehicle unless you a comfortable putting chains on yourself. Weather and driving conditions may change rapidly. We will not accommodate refund related to weather or road conditions, please plan accordingly.

Great location, close to the park entry. Grand Lake is beautiful. The apartment had everything we needed and was quite comfortable. Very quiet neighborhood. Overall this was a great rental. Very responsive host. Had a little bit of frustration with check in and some minor maintenance issues (appear to be recurring) we reported on checkout.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the 4th summer I’ve taken my grandchildren to Grand Lake.This time I stayed on top of a mountain overlooking Grand Lake. The condo was cozy and adorable. The kids loved it and the beautiful peaceful surroundings. We’ll never forget the little drive up the mountainside on Mary Ave to Tall Pine Circle.

Unit was re-modeled except for the bathrooms. Itwas like they quit updating when it came to the baths, still from 1970. Full bath tub had mold growing in it with very, very old fixtures. Was also asked to clean the grill spotless if we used it, of which we did not use.Unit was on the ground floor and you could here the neighbors upstairs conversations and walking around. Plus side, it have a nice view from deck if you could ignore the conversations above you.

Wonderful stay at SPW200!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Huge thank you to the entire team at Grand Mountain Rentals for being so incredibly kind and accommodating. Our original property (not managed by GRM) suffered a catastrophic well pump failure on Thanksgiving morning and with nobody actually in the area to help, and we were frantic. We were able to get in touch with Grand Mountain Rentals who went above and beyond to help salvage our holiday and get us into this great condo at the Shadow Park West complex above Grand Lake. It was a huge relief after our first experience to find a company that is actually local with an office in the village and employees who live in and know the area very well. The company owner Kristy and her property managers Sophia & Fiona are absolutely fantastic and took great care of us, really cannot thank you all enough! The condo itself was perfect and just what we needed, the homeowners have done a very nice job with it! The unit is well furnished, very clean, quiet, comfortable, and just generally a great place to unwind. Had zero problems with anything while we were there. Checkin was a breeze, the physical map was very helpful and all the instructions are very clear. The SPW complex is well taken care of and super convenient to town, but sits on a big hill overlooking everything and doesn't feel like you're in the thick of it, it was extremely peaceful. We even had a mama moose and her yearling calf come by around the deck each morning we were there which was amazing! The neighbors we met were very nice and welcoming too. We will definitely be looking to stay here again on our next trip to Grand Lake!
