Welcome aboard the Mangrove Mansion, a beautifully customized 41-foot Gibson houseboat designed to be your ultimate family getaway. Recently renovated and fully outfitted with modern amenities, this floating retreat blends comfort, charm, and a touch of adventure.Her home base is anchored near Grant, Florida in the scenic Indian River Lagoon, just off an easily accessible spoil island you can treat as your own private escape during your stay. One of the unique perks of our boat is the flexibility—if you have something special in mind, we may even be able to relocate her to your dock for use as a floating condo, private office, or even a romantic honeymoon suite.
Sleeping & Bathrooms
The Mangrove Mansion comfortably accommodates up to 6 adults with:

The master bathroom features a separate step-in shower, while the guest bathroom has a handheld faucet/shower setup. (For those unfamiliar, this means the entire bathroom functions as a shower—just be sure to remove anything you don’t want to get wet before using it!)
Living Space & Amenities
The main living area offers generous seating, perfect for relaxing while enjoying panoramic water views or the 50-inch smart TV. Stay connected with Starlink WiFi for streaming or remote work. A large sofa comfortably seats four, with additional bar seating to keep the space social and open.

The kitchen is well-equipped with:

French press for coffee lovers
You’ll find essential cookware and a dining table for four, ideal for both casual meals and sit-down dinners. Prefer to stay outdoors? Fire up the propane grill on the back deck and enjoy the fresh air from the spacious flybridge seating area.
Water & Marine Systems
Hot and cold running water (non-potable, from a 100-gallon tank—please bring drinking water)
Marine toilets with Coast Guard-approved Purasan treatment system
Marine-safe toilet paper provided (use sparingly to avoid clogs)
We’ll walk you through everything upon arrival so you feel comfortable using all onboard systems and live close by just in case.
What to Expect
This is a real boat—she gently sways with wind and water, adding to the authentic experience. If you’re sensitive to motion, remedies like Dramamine or sea bands are recommended.
Weather in Florida can change quickly. For your safety, there may be occasions when we need to move the boat to a more secure location. If that happens, we’ll communicate clearly and work with you on the best plan.
Family-Friendly Note
We love hosting families (we have three kids ourselves!) and believe this is a truly special place for making lasting memories. That said, it is a boat in a natural environment, so we ask parents to use their best judgment and supervise children accordingly.
