Gorleston town centre is a few minutes away with plenty of shops, a supermarket and more restaurants and pubs. For more traditional seaside activities, visit Great Yarmouth with its amusements, pleasure beach, Pier show, Sea Life Centre and the renowned Hippodrome Circus. Alternatively, why not have a day out at Pleasurewood Hills theme park, Africa Alive, BeWILDerwood or the Tide and Tide Museum of Great Yarmouth Life? Golf clubs can be borrowed for any golfers wanting to play at the local Gorleston golf club and boats hired from the local sailing club.



The medieval city of Norwich, voted one of the top ten shopping locations in the UK, is a 35-minute drive. Here you will also find art galleries, a cathedral and castle museum. The Suffolk Heritage Coast is full of pretty coastal villages such as Southwold, Dunwich and Aldeburgh, all within an hours’ drive. For a change in pace, visit the Norfolk Broads National Park, the southern gateway of which lies in Oulton Broad, just a short drive away.
