No hot water and shockingly poor attitude from staff
I stayed at the St George Hotel in Great Yarmouth two days ago, and Iâve rarely experienced customer service this poor. When I got to my room, there was no hot water. I ran the tap for 15 minutes â still stone cold.
I went to reception to ask about it, and the response I got was unbelievable. The staff member said, âIf you have no hot water, nobody has hot water.â When I asked what I was supposed to do for a shower, he replied, âSame as everybody else.â
No apology, no effort to help, no basic courtesy. Guests shouldnât have to accept cold showers and rude dismissals as part of their stay. Itâs completely unacceptable, and Iâd strongly advise anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere.
