The corrugated wall and flamingo print provide a real talking point and make this room a real feature of the cottage. Leading through from the kitchen is the ground floor bathroom which features a walk-in shower with large built in seat, again the interior design of this room is faultless.

Cottage stairs lead up from the living/dining room and here you can find two stunning bedrooms, a wood panelled twin bunk room (for children) with exposed beams and the master double room. From this room take the paddle stairs to the converted attic cinema room. Here you can stretch out, relax, and watch a movie after a long day exploring the local area. The Twisted Toad offers an enclosed courtyard which is also very artfully designed with covered private hot tub and additional seating. Perfect for an early morning coffee or a romantic al fresco evening meal.

A short stroll from the front door will bring you to the very centre of this pretty market town which offers a good range of amenities as well as a ruined abbey to explore. A short drive will bring you into the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the local landmark, Roseberry Topping or more affectionally known as ‘Yorkshire’s Matterhorn’.
