Flip Flops & Sun is a 4-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 1380 sq. ft. private beach house designed for ultimate relaxation in the tranquil Fort Morgan community of Gulf Shores, Alabama. This dog-friendly home offers spacious accommodations for up to 12 guests, stunning Gulf views, and easy boardwalk access to the white sandy beaches. Whether you're planning a family getaway or a trip with friends, this charming home provides everything you need for a stress-free beach retreat.

The Space – Sleeps 12 Comfortably
Primary Bedroom – King-size bed, private Gulf views, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2 – Queen-size bed, cozy furnishings, and easy access to the shared bathroom.
Bedroom 3 – Two full-size beds, ideal for additional guests or family members.
Bedroom 4 – Two twin-size bunk beds (four total beds), perfect for kids or extra guests.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

DOG-FRIENDLY PROPERTIES: If you are staying at a dog-friendly property, you MUST notify us and pay a non-refundable dog deposit. Failure to do so will result in us charging your card for the entire amount authorized for damage.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: Adequate Parking for four (4) vehicles maximum. No parking pass required. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

This place is all about the location. The location is amazing!! Right on the beach. But to top it all off, the house itself was perfect! Extremely clean, well decorated, and the beds and linens were super comfortable. House had a lot of good kitchen amenities, and the roku tvs were very helpful. The shower on the deck to rinse off after the beach was super handy and the beach spot was not crowded at all and had super soft sand and clear water! We had one minor issue with a deck board being broken. But we communicated the need and someone was there within the hour and it was fixed. Our family highly recommends this listing and would stay here again in a heaetbeat!!

Relaxing at the beach

My wife and I stayed at this home for 7 nights. It’s a great location and was very quiet when we weee there in early March. House is updated and very comfortable. We only used the King bedroom and it was comfortable. (The bath for the Master is in the hall so it can be shared with another bedroom, but this wasn’t an issue.). Nice deck overlooking the beach with great private boardwalk access. Second bath is small and has to be shared with other two bedrooms. This could be problematic if you had a very large family or group for some. TV is Roku so come with all your subscription passwords or you are out of luck without watching news or reruns.). We did have a significant wind storm while staying other that knocked the TV offline, but the property management company sent someone over the next morning that got it back online. Very responsive. The house did not have a grill, but a small hibachi was available although we didn’t use it. We really enjoyed this home and it would be very comfortable for a family or two couples. The property was very clean and well maintained!

Excellent property

Property is in a great location. Beach was not too busy and dog friendly. There was plenty of room for our family and close to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach. Highly recommend this property. It was a bit pricey but we throughly enjoyed ourselves.

Fabulous!

I almost want to gatekeep this property. This is the perfect location. There are no obstructions to the ocean or beach. We spent every day on the beach or relaxing in the living room with the sliding doors open to the breeze. The kitchen and living area was absolutely perfect. While cooking, you can look out the sliding doors to the ocean. The furniture on the deck was the recycled, heavy duty furniture. Everything you need was provided. We had to call property management twice and they responded immediately. 1st time was one of the outlets shut off and they had to direct us to the breaker (hidden behind a wall hanging in one of the bedrooms) and some of the boards were lifting and needed additional screws. Property management came out immediately and rescrewed the boards. This vacation was meant to be a relaxing beach vacation and we got exactly that. We still talk about this vacation and plan to use this property again.

Waking up to this home’s ocean view is worth it all. This rental was perfect for our family of 8. The adults all had great space in the rooms and the kids loved the sturdy bunk beds. With your own boardwalk to the beach, it is steps from the back door to your toes in the sand. The home was clean and comfy. We LOVED our stay and would recommend this rental again and again.

Great quiet getaway

Everything was what we wanted. Secluded area and quiet. The property was perfect for our little family and parents. Loved the deck and walkway to the beach. No hassle of “did I remember everything for toddler” since the house was only a few steps from the beach. The communication with the owners/property management was top notch. I had quick responses throughout the entire process for every silly question I had. The entire family is already wanting to book for next year! Thank you all for a great family week!

Great view cute house

We loved this house and had a great time although it did rain everyday and the beach had a lot of seaweed but the house was great. The view was amazing and although on the smaller side the access to the beach makes up for it. About a 20 minute drive to most restaurants and grocery. Could use some more cooking utensils and cups and towels but you can make do with what was there. I would book again just maybe not in August.

Fantastic beach week

Our family gathers for beach week every summer, always in Fort Morgan. This was our first time to stay at Flip Flops & Sun, the location is perfect! Our youngest and his wife were with us with their 4 month old, the proximity and easy access to the beach was perfect for his first beach trip! My 6&7 year old grandchildren loved the bunk beds! All the adults agreed the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. The home was clean and fairly well stocked, more water glasses would be great. We will definitely rent this property again next year!

Remodeled current decor, perfect location right on beach . It’s a little pricey and management contacted us by email telling us to be out at 10:00 on the dot or we pay another day . They also told us to load and start dishwasher and carry out garbage , and turn heat on 68*. We paid a lot for a cleaning fee ! We couldn’t believe they sent us a email stating this order . They also included we may be charged for additional fees if we were still there when cleaning crew arrived , we must be out at 10:00 a.m. my 3 stars on cleanliness ,rugs have terrible stains in master bedroom , pictures on line rugs look brand new . Good luck ! Location in my opinion is the best thing going for this house .
