Sandpiper is a beautiful, second tier home in the desirable Morgantown beach community. The beach access boardwalk is basically at the end of the driveway of this 1 story 5 bedroom, 4 bath home. So, you can go from looking at the view to being in the picture in no time at all. The spacious deck, with ample seating, provides the perfect spot for sunset watching and star gazing. Pro Tip: No need to pack for the day when you head to the beach. When you are this close, it's super easy to return for additional supplies.

The Space

Sandpiper features an open floor plan with a large living, dining and kitchen area. The kitchen has granite counter tops and top of the line appliances. The 5 bedrooms orbit the living area in this one-story home. The King primary has a private bath with separate shower and a double sink. There is also balcony access from this room. Two of the other bedrooms have Queen beds and private baths. The 4th and 5th bedrooms share a bath. One has a Queen bed and the other, two Twin beds. In all, Sandpiper will comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

For added safety and security, there is a Ring video doorbell at this property.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
