Charming stone house along the Seine in the heart of the Champagne vineyards

Charming stone house located on the banks of the Seine, with a sunny South-facing terrace and a flower-filled shaded garden, in the heart of the Champagne vineyards.

The accommodation itself has just been renovated and can accommodate up to 9 people. It comprises 4 bright and comfortable bedrooms upstairs (1 room with a 160x200 bed, 1 room with 1 140x200 bed and 1 90x200 bed, 1 room with a 140x190 bed, and 1 room with a 140x200 bed), 2 shower rooms, and 2 separate toilets, a large fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, stove, microwave, fridge-freezer, etc.), as well as a dining room open to the living room.

The South-facing terrace is furnished with a large outdoor table, 2 small tables, a large parasol, 4 loungers, and 2 garden chairs, perfect for socializing or taking naps. A few steps lead directly down to the garden.

The garden is filled with trees and flowers, providing a delightful space for playing, reading, or relaxing.

Please note: the garden is filled with trees but NOT FENCED on the side facing the Seine, which means there are UNPROTECTED ACCESS POINTS TO THE WATER, which can be DANGEROUS, especially for children. Any access to the water can only be done under your full responsibility. You can find some refreshment at the "piscine" in Gyé, a basin on the Seine, a 3-minute walk away, frequented by the locals.

The location of this house is a major advantage. Situated in the Champagne vineyards, you can explore the cellars and taste the renowned wines of the region (the Champagne Route, which takes place on July 29 and 30, 2023, near Gyé-sur-Seine, is a great opportunity to tour the cellars!), discover the village of Renoir just a few kilometers away, and have fun at the Nigloland amusement park and the leisure bases at the lakes of the Orient Forest (about thirty minutes by car). The proximity to the Seine also offers numerous possibilities for outdoor activities, such as fishing or canoeing, as Gyé is a stopover town. Gyé also has 2 restaurants, one of which is Le Garde Champêtre, awarded 1 star in the Michelin Green Guide. A bakery + grocery store is available at the tobacco café on the Church square.

All bed linen is provided and included in the rental price. We can also provide you with towels as an option, for an additional fee of €8 per person (for 1 bath sheet 70140 and 1 towel 5090).
