This property is located on a private road in a remote area so a car is definitely needed.

★ RENTAL CONTRACT ★

We have disclosed the terms of our Rental Contract in the Additional Rules section of the House Rules. This contract includes house rules, liability regarding on site activities, and fees for breaking rules. By booking this property you acknowledge that you have read, understand and agree to be bound by all terms, conditions, and policies in the Rental Contract.

★ DAMAGE PROTECTION ★

Instead of a security deposit, your stay includes a damage protection waiver, covering up to $2,000 in accidental damage during your visit. Please note that this applies only to accidental damage. Any intentional damage or violations of house rules will be charged to you in accordance with our rental agreement. Full details of the coverage will be shared after your booking is confirmed.

★ PET GUIDELINES ★

We welcome up to two well-behaved dogs for a one-time fee of $75 per dog. To help us keep the home clean and comfortable for every guest, dogs must remain off all furniture and beds throughout your stay.

Please review our simple guidelines to ensure a great stay for all:

✔ Dogs must be over 1 year old, under 50 lbs, housebroken, and leash trained
✔ No excessive barking or heavy shedding breeds
✔ The yard is not fenced—dogs must always be leashed outdoors
✔ Please clean up after your pet and dispose of waste in basement bins
✔ Dogs must remain off all furniture and beds throughout your stay
✔ Any pet-related damage will be the guest's responsibility

This property does not host cats. Any other animals must be pre-approved ahead of your stay.

✔ You may encounter wildlife - do not leave food or trash outside
✔ Respect the natural surroundings and follow local safety guidance

★ CHECK-OUT INSTRUCTIONS ★

Below are the check-out instructions we request at the end of each stay:

✔️ Load and run the dishwasher
✔️ Remove all food & drinks
✔️ Pile used towels in the laundry basket next to the washing machine
✔️ If grill was used, please clean and re-cover after use
✔️ Take trash and recycling to basement cans (the door code is 0889)
✔️ Ensure windows are closed and doors are locked

Please note we do not permit any Airbnb services or experiences on this property, including third-party bookings made through the Airbnb Experiences and Airbnb Services platforms.

Any guest who attempts to host or bring an Airbnb-related Service or Experience onto the premises without our prior written approval will have their reservation cancelled immediately, with no refund issues.

If you plan on shipping packages during your stay, please note some carriers are not able to delivery to this address.

★ ADDITIONAL NOTES ★

✔ You must be 25 or older to rent this home
✔ The indoor gas fireplace uses a catalytic heater. For safety and airflow, we suggest opening a window during use.
✔ While there may be some leftover wood at the property, we do require guests to provide their own firewood for use in the firepit.
✔ Please note you're staying in a rural area, which means nature is all around! While we keep our homes well-maintained, it's not uncommon to cross paths with the occasional insect indoors or out.
✔ Use of kayaks, paddle board, life jackets and any water activities are at your own risk. We are not liable for these activities.
✔ Your safety matters. The property has an exterior Ring front entrance camera that points at the driveway and records video and audio upon motion. It does not look into any interior spaces.
✔ Please be aware we do not list the property as toddler or baby safe. While we work to create a safe space for all ages, be sure to watch children carefully at all times, especially near the fireplace and staircase.
✔ From time to time, routine services such as landscaping, trash removal or pest control may require access to the exterior of the property. We do our best to schedule these visits to minimize any disruption, but we appreciate your understanding if they overlap with your stay.
✔ In the winter months, snow removal is scheduled as promptly as possible following snowfall, subject to vendor availability. Specific timing cannot be guaranteed. Guests are advised to exercise caution and be mindful of slippery conditions during winter weather.
