Start your day with coffee on the dock, spend afternoons kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing, or swimming, and unwind in the hammock as the sun sets. Enjoy movie nights in the cozy lower-level retreat, a fenced yard, outdoor shower, spacious kitchen, and dedicated workspace. Just minutes from downtown Hayesville and local attractions.

Adventure awaits! Western NC and North GA abound with opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Set your sights on long-range views with visits to Bell Mountain in Hiawassee (20-minute drive) and Brasstown Bald (highest point in GA, 35-minute drive). Spend the day on Lake Chatuge with a boat or personal watercraft rental from a local marina or launch your own from nearby public access. Want to immerse yourself in nature in the Nantahala National Forest? Bring your mountain bikes and ride the first-class trails at Jackrabbit Mountain (also great for hiking and dog-friendly) less than 5 minutes from the property. Fires Creek Recreation Area (25-minute drive) is another Western NC local favorite for hiking with picturesque views, swimming, and trout fishing. On the GA side, take a 30-minute drive to a waterfall hike via the High Shoals Falls Trail or make the 45-minute drive to Alpine Helen, GA for a taste of Bavaria in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hungry and thirsty after a day of exploration? Visit the outstanding local restaurants, wineries, and breweries in and around downtown Hayesville and Hiawassee for not-to-be-missed tastes of local flavor.

We love the #lakelife around here as well as the majestic mountains. So much to do and see right in town. We have a handy Welcome Book in the house full of dining options, things to do, shopping, hiking and waterfall trails. Wineries with live music events and tastings are plentiful! And a short 25 mile drive to Helen for tubing or zip lining.

There are several excellent boat rental places in the area! We use Lake Chatuge Marine, the fellas will help you out! All kinds of water toys too, like jet skis, stand up paddle boards and kayaks.


You will have access to the entire home, with the exception of the detached garage!

**The Space**

This spacious lakefront home offers a comfortable layout perfect for families and groups, with plenty of room to gather, relax, and enjoy beautiful Lake Chatuge.

The main level features an open-concept living room, kitchen, and dining area, creating the perfect space to cook, dine, and spend time together. The primary suite is located on the main level and includes a king bed, private en-suite bathroom, and direct access to the back patio — the perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee or unwind after a day on the lake. This patio also has gas grill (we provide the propane).

On the main level, you’ll find a queen bedroom with easy access to a separate full bathroom.

The lower level offers additional sleeping space with a queen bedroom and a bunk room featuring a full-over-twin bunk bed plus an additional king bed, making it a great space for kids, families, or extra guests. These bedrooms share a full bathroom.

The laundry area is also located on the lower level, along with the garage for all of the lake toys!

Step outside from the basement level and enjoy easy outdoor access and an outdoor shower! Follow the stairs down to the private dock and lake, where you can relax, swim, fish, or simply take in the peaceful lake views.

This home was designed for making memories — whether you’re gathered around the table, relaxing on the patio, or enjoying a day by the water.

• Coffee lovers are covered! The home includes both a regular drip coffee maker and a K-Cup coffee maker. Ground coffee is provided for your convenience.

• Propane is provided for the grill so you can enjoy outdoor cooking during your stay.

• This is a **non-smoking property**.

• We love animals, but this home has a **strict no-pet policy**.

• No parties or events are permitted. This home is located in a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood, and we ask that all guests be respectful of our neighbors.

**Host Cancellation Policy**
Reservations cancelled according to our cancellation terms will receive a **96% refund**. A 4% credit card processing fee is charged by our payment processor and is non-refundable.
