Bright 2-Room Apt. w/ Balcony in Coolest District

This charming 42sqm apartment in the bohemian Kallio area acts as a comfortable and practical base during your stay in Helsinki.

In Kalllio, you are surrounded by amazing restaurants, cafes, second hand shops, microbreweries as well as cheap bars and pubs (by Helsinki standards).

The city centre is just 10 minutes away by tram and the strategic location near the Sörnäinen public transportation hub makes exploration of the city and its surroundings a breeze no matter where you are heading.

Best suited for up to 4 people, however we do accept a maximum of 5 guests.
The bedroom bed is a comfy 160cm wide Queen size bed. Two extra guests can be accomodated on the sofa bed in the living room and the possible fifth guest can use a provided air mattress.

The building is located next to the (in)famous bar street of Vaasankatu, but the apartment itself is very peaceful due to its location up all the way on the 9th floor.

The apartment is equipped with a 65inch LG Nanocell 4K smart TV and a Xbox Series S with Game Pass subscription. Guests also have access to our Netflix and Disney+ accounts

The apartment is located in Kallio, Finland’s vibrant and trendy hipster mecca with a very high density of restaurants, bars and pubs. Kallio is a traditional densely populated working class district that has undergone huge changes during the last few decades. Today's Kallio is a place where people from all walks of life live, work and party.

The area is full of great restaurants with cuisine from around the world, often to budget friendly prices. The cheapest pint of beer in town can definitely be found in some of the nearby not so trendy old-school Kallio bars that still act as a reminiscence of the area's past.

There is a large S-market convenience store located a one minute walk from the apartment. Lidl supermarkets can also be found a mere 6-7 minute walk away in either the Sörnäinen or Machine Shop area direction.

Located very strategically, not the least because it is just a mere 5-10 minutes away from the city center, depending on the form of transportation. The western and northern parts of the city can easily be reached by tram or bus . If you are heading to eastern Helsinki you will likely want to go there by metro, the nearest metro station is the Sörnäinen station, located a 6-7 minute walk away. The apartment is also located just a few tram stops away from the district of Pasila with newly opened Mall of Tripla (the biggest mall in Northern Europe), as well as Expo and Convention Centre Messukeskus.

Bus number 600 conveniently takes you from and to the airport in around 30 minutes even during rush hour. Walking from the bus stop to the apartment takes around 7 minutes. Another option is the Airport train + tram number 9 from Pasila Station. This alternative is likely to be a little bit slower but involves less walking.
