Our studio is 16 sqm small, yet it is well equipped and the house oozes traditional working class Vallila spirit. The building is over 90 years old and, though greatly cared for, our studio shows its age in some places. Expect to find some loving wear, quaint aging and charming patina.

Please note that the apartment is located on the 5th (top) floor and that the building DOES NOT HAVE AN ELEVATOR.

Good for 1-2 people. The bed is a comfy 140cm wide double bed.

The apartment is equipped with a smart TV. Guests have access to our Netflix and Disney+ accounts.

Please note that the house is lacking an elevator! Due to this we do not recommend people with disabilities or low fitness levels to book this apartment.

We want to provide everything our guests could want and need, please do contact us if you feel that there is something lacking from the apartment during your stay. Chances are that we will be quick to act on your suggestions and wishes.

My husband and I are eager travellers and often out of town. Whenever we can, we try to be there to greet you and help you carry your luggage up to the apartment.

The apartment doesn’t have a washing machine, but we can give you access to the common laundry room if needed. Please inform us ahead of your stay if you wish to wash clothes.

The apartment is located in Vallila, a trendy and urban district. The neighboring bohemian district of Kallio with its hundreds of bars and pubs is within walking distance.

There is a 24/7 convenience store just around the corner and the apartment is surrounded by great restaurants with cuisine from around the world, catering to most tastes and budgets.

The location in the heart of youthful Vallilla is very strategical, not the least because it is just a mere 10 minutes away from the city center by public transportation. The western and northern parts of the city can easily be reached by trams and buses stopping just a few meters from the doorstep. If you are heading to eastern Helsinki you will likely choose to go there by metro, the nearest metro station is the Sörnäinen station, two bus stops or a 10 minute walk away.

The apartment is also located just a few tram stops away from Pasila with its Mall of Tripla (the biggest mall in Northern Europe), as well as Expo and Convention Centre Messukeskus.

Bus number 600 conveniently takes you from and to the airport in less than 30 minutes even during rush hour.
