The School House is an ultra stylish holiday let, just a short walk from the Cathedral and the city centre so you can discover all that historic Hereford has to offer! You'll have exclusive access to the entire house where you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Perfect for families and couples, The School House is the ultimate home from home providing a luxury stay for up to four guests.



The Space:

From the outside The School House has a narrow frontage but it's deceptively spacious once you're inside. Every care has been taken to decorate and style the interiors so you can enjoy a wonderful stay.



The modern kitchen has a dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge/freezer, induction hob, electric fan assisted oven, microwave, kettle and toaster. The large island provides a great, sociable dining space but there's also a table and four chairs outside in the enclosed, private garden for warmer days.



The house enjoys superfast WiFi, and the lounge has a 40" smart TV with Netflix included.



There are two ensuite bedrooms to sleep four guests. In the master bedroom, you will find a king-size bed and a workspace/dressing area, whilst the second bedroom has a double bed. The master bedroom ensuite bathroom has a luxurious free-standing bath and large walk-in shower, a large basin with drawer storage, and a toilet. The second ensuite has a corner, walk-in shower, toilet and basin with storage.



A separate ground floor WC is also available at The School House for added convenience.



Luxury toiletries from Land & Water, crisp white linen and fluffy towels are all included so you get that boutique hotel feel but with the benefit of having all the space to yourselves - ideal if you're travelling with friends, family or children! A travel cot, high chair and toddler dining set are also provided for little ones.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.



There is a parking permit at the property which allows guests to park one vehicle close by, where a space is available. There are also a number of pay and display car parks in the local area.



The Neighborhood:

Hereford is located in the heart of Herefordshire and is full of wonder. Spend your day browsing the independent shops across the city and explore the old market which has been transformed into an open-air destination for shopping, dining and cinema.



Explore the Black and White House museum, full of period furnishings and artworks, allowing an insight into Jacobean life. Visit the Cider Museum featuring original champagne cider cellars and enjoy learning about the history of the rural product. Or venture outside of the city for a calmer experience.



If you step outside the city you can escape from everyday life; soak up the beauty of the lush woodland along the banks of the River Wye, explore wild landscapes, walk through woodlands and picturesque hills or enjoy something more strenuous like canoeing the River Wye or cycling across trails and tracks.

Getting Around:

Hereford lies on the border with Wales, hugged by the Malvern Hills and the Black Mountains. It takes under two hours to drive from Bristol, Birmingham, Oxford and Cardiff, with London and Manchester within three hours.



If you are travelling by train, the railway station at Hereford has direct trains running to Birmingham, Chester, Manchester, Cardiff, Carmarthen and Holyhead, with a maximum journey time of 1½ hours.



The are regular bus services to Gloucester, Worcester and Monmouth.



Bristol Airport is 48 miles away from Hereford.
