While the property itself was nice, the overall experience with the property manager ended up being terrible. I tried typing out a full review, but I am limited to the number of characters I can type so I have to shorten and condense this all down. Long story short I would not rent this property again ever. Not because the property itself is bad. Yes the garage door was broken all week and we couldn’t use it, the elevator was broken all week and we couldn’t use it, The coffee pot was broken, but we still tried to use it, and two different bathroom door locks actually locked two of our guests in and they needed assistance to be let out. It wasn’t for those reasons. It was for the complete lack of acknowledging the issues we were having during our stay, most notably, with the construction work that was being done at a property adjacent to us. Our neighbors for the week also had issues (flooding and fleas) and complained to tbe property manager. For the first three days of our trip, we struggled to even drive in and out, and actually had to confront the construction workers because they were unwilling to move their vehicles or accommodate for us. On a few occasions, we were completely boxed in. See pictures. The property manager was very unprofessional and did not help. It became a joke amongst our party that once they got us into the rental and our money, they weren’t there to help. Anyone with an upcoming trip here, be warned you might run into the same issues that we faced.

I booked this vacation home a year in advance for a very special family vacation. Me and my husband, my son, my daughter, her husband and one year old and my 86 year old mom! We were looking forward to this for an entire year. This house was perfect for all of us. My only complaint is that there needs to be a continued walkway to the beach as it was hard to take my mom and "stuff" to the beach and the bed mattresses in a couple of the rooms could be replaced. Also, a crack in the microwave made us scared to use it! But great house in a great location! We would definitely rent again!

Great Family Beach Vacation House

The house is a bit tricky to locate. However, once inside the house it is absolutely beautiful and very well arranged. The pool is smaller than we expected from the pictures but adequate. The ocean views are spectacular. All the rooms are large and it easily accommodated our diverse family group. We are a family that loves to cook and eat together. The kitchen was large, dining area sufficient, but the pots, pans and accessories were deficient. This was disappointing and we would recommend upgrading these. The parking was challenging. There was parking for 4 cars, but with 4 cars at the house next door it was very tricky getting turning around to get back across the narrow bridge. However, even with these limitations, we agreed we all loved our vacation and the house.

Great house, great location

Great spot on the beach. Spacious for 12 adults. Prompt responses from property manager regarding a couple of issues/questions that came up. Would recommend and would stay here again. Could have been cleaned a tiny bit more before arrival but overall clean and tidy.

Beach Time At Its Best!

We had family members from age 6 to age 76. The house was PERFECT! The three levels of the house provided plenty of individual space and privacy for each smaller family unit. Plus the large first floor main level provided plenty of space for all family members to easily gather together to share meals and group time. The balconies on each level reminded us the reason we initially chose the house.....the views of the beach were great. The private pool definitely provided time for the younger ones to burn off energy. The house and all its amenities were wonderful. The kitchen was well equipped and the bedrooms and bathroom were spacious. The location was perfect. But the "icing on the cake" was the private walkway to the beach. We rented some umbrellas and chairs which were set up and taken down each day. All we had to do to enjoy the beach was to walk down the walkway.

Wonderful summer vacation

We really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful and spacious home with a gorgeous beach at its footsteps. There were plenty of sitting areas for our group of 17, plenty of towels etc. Bedroom configuration didn’t exactly work for us as there were two bedrooms with double beds, and we had five couples. We made it work, smaller kids slept on the pullout sofa in the third floor living room. Few things that could be added include: additional flatware and dinnerware, which would be helpful for a bigger size group, as well as hangers in the closets. Overall, truly wonderful experience! We highly recommend this house and the area.

Great Stay in Hilton Head

Perfect place for our family reunion and Mother’s day celebration! Beautiful house with large bedrooms, fantastic balcony views, a first floor kitchen/greatroom where we could all gather. The elevator made it convenient for our parents and the short walk to the beach was “cane” navigable. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacay

There were 2 oceanfront suites, both with balconies however we could not use the third floor master balcony so the family that had that room couldn’t sit on their balcony. This was one of the reasons we rented this place. We were told someone would be in touch the next day and no one ever came or called. The place was not cleaned very well before our stay, floor felt gritty and multiple spots of debris on main floor, second floor, and the floor above the main floor, third floor. Very difficult pathway to beach with tons of ants in the sand where you are walking. And they bite. Pool was never cleaned while we were there. Oven was dirty, apparently there was a spill because when we used the oven Thursday night the fire alarm was set off and when I sent a text to the emergency number they were less than helpful, they really did not know what to do.

A Perfect spot

This house was the perfect spot for our group. Access to the beach was a huge hit. Sun rises and sun sets were spectacular. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a great house for a large group.

Our experience with this property was generally excellent. The plusses (not in order of importance) included -- Beach front with a private path to the beach (private is a big plus) -- Central location on island -- Comfortable beds and furniture -- Generously sized rooms with high ceilings -- Kitchen large enough for more than one person to work -- Alexa on the main floor to provide music and information such as high/low tide times -- Foosball in the third floor living area -- An assortment of noodles and other playthings in basement (also some puzzles and games on the main floor) -- Dining room table does indeed seat 10! (though a bit snug) -- lenty of closet space -- Concerned, knowledgeable, polite, competent, and prompt property management Not so great things included: -- Small pool without a spa (but an in-pool bench with some jets on one wall) -- Lots of problems with internet strength and continuity coupled with the internet provider's slack response time (this is a big problem because cell phone reception isn't great). I hope the issue has been fixed. -- Dining room chairs noisy on tile floor (could use felt pads on legs) -- Some furniture placed oddly (not enough/near enough bedside table and lamps; have to play card/board games at dining table or move heavy furniture in living area) -- Occupant(s) of main floor bedroom don't have private bathroom -- Narrow porches (can't seat many people at same time comfortably)

Fabulous Intro to Hilton Head

The house was clean & spacious. So fun to cook together in the kitchen with such a fantastic view. The living & dining areas were ideal for our family of 15. The master bedrooms were large & comfortable. The other bedrooms were nice, also. Perfect access to the beach. The pool is quite small but worked out well with the four youngest grandchildren. We hope to be back!

2021 Kelly/Shew Family vacation

This vacation was to bring our adult children together, to blend our families. The 1st floor of the house was so spacious and wonderful to do just that. The furniture is new and so comfy. The kitchen is open & complete with everything needed to cook. The only issue we had was the ice maker couldn't keep up with 12 adults making drinks....which we expected. Bags of ice kept us ready. Plus there is a full refrigerator in the garage(which is huge & can fit at least 4 cars, if not 6). The pool/deck was perfect for us after a day in the sun at the beach. It all becomes shaded as the afternoon moves on. We did feel the pool was more adult friendly, than kid friendly, which was fine for us. We loved ending our day in the pool & relaxing on the deck. We did have to spray for ants a few times though. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful too. Our 15 year old chose to sleep on the 3rd floor pull out couch & loved having his own little spot. We would definitely recommed this house and stay here again!

Great family vacation

Was a great property and the host was super responsive to our request. The only thing I’d say is the pool is more the size of a large jacuzzi and not really big enough to swim in. The beds were comfortable and plenty of room to spread out.

The Most Incredible Hilton Head Vacation Home!

We absolutely LOVED staying in this house. The location is amazing. The private beach and the pool right outside was 10/10. The house overall was just amazing. The only complaint our group had is the beds aren’t comfortable and need to be updated.
