Family fun at HH

We had a great time. The beach shuttle was a great feature. House was great. The elevator was a bit harder to use than we expected, but it did not turn out to be a problem. Highly recommend.

Wonderful House

This is a wonderful property for a large family vacation. It is centrally located on the island and provides easy access to restaurants, shopping and other activities. The house is comfortable and is just a short walk to the beach. The management company was very helpful and was responsive to our needs. We will definitely stay here again.

Overall the place was good but we felt that the chandelier above the dining table was very low.

The dining table and other high chairs were very heavy and we were playing cards and was very difficult to move the chairs. There was a funny smell in the garage and felt like overall the place was not cleaned properly.

Had a wonderful stay

We were 11 adults ranging from 62 to 84, a group of Navy veterans of the 60s era and spouses/widows. The house met our needs exceptionally well. We needed the elevator and when we couldn't make it work, staff responded immediately. The support we got from Andi whenever we had a question or a need was truly outstanding.

Fell short

The good: This is a very nice home, and, space-wise, it served our needs perfectly. It has the right number of rooms and beds, and a good layout that paired parents with kids while still providing privacy. The location is close enough to the beach to walk if you’re so inclined, and there is also a free shuttle that is very responsive and convenient. The management and maintenance teams were very responsive (more on this later). The okay: The kitchen was well-stocked, but poorly cleaned, & disorganized. The pool appeared well-tended (could use citronella), but the area around it, including the garage and access stairs needed sweeping and scrubbing. The bad: There were a few issues. The trash was not removed prior to our arrival so the dumpster was full and smelly. Some of the furniture in the dining area was in disrepair. The shower in one of the bathrooms did not drain properly - it was VERY slow such that we were showering in standing water. There was no stopper for the only bathtub - a requirement for bathing the babies. The hot water stopped working on the main level a few days into our trip - we were told this was a known problem (so why wasn’t it addressed?!). To their credit, as I mentioned earlier, the management and maintenance team were VERY responsive and corrected nearly everything within 24 hours. We also found/reported a HUGE cockroach in the kitchen on our first night, and then discovered we were overrun with them. Various family members found them freely crawling up the walls and across the floor even in broad daylight, and we didn’t realize how bad the problem was until we were chatting about the trip overall on our last night. Every adult killed at least a couple. You can call them by a pretty name (palmetto bug) all you want, but a cockroach is a cockroach, and ignoring the issue even after it is reported, or posting on the refrigerator that they are a function of the location, neither helps nor eases the minds of those of us who spent literally thousands of dollars to rent the home. This issue really spoiled our trip. ALL the women were creeped out, and, as we packed to leave, we had to spend extra time shaking out our belongings before placing them in our suitcases and cars to avoid “piggy-backers”. So gross, and such a huge disappointment! I urge you to please fully exterminate before the next renters! Overall: Had maintenance been PROactive, and the critters addressed, this would have been a great trip.

Annual Golf Trip

There were several houses that we reviewed when planning our trip. 27 Corrine was where we landed based on certain criteria and we are glad that we did. The main reasons were the space and also the individual beds. This was a golf trip with 8 men who are 45+ years old. We are to the point where we need our own bedrooms for the most part and our own space. We also liked the shared space for being able to hang out together and play cards. There was a big table to accommodate us all and also a smaller table when we wanted to split up. All in the same room with living room/TV and kitchen. The outdoor space was big enough for all 8 of us to hang out together, as well. The house was centrally located (although Hilton Head is pretty small, in general). House definitely met our needs for a guy's golf trip and would certainly meet the needs of a large family group. The beach was walking distance and tiki bar at Marriott resort also walking distance.

Great Vacation Home

VERY CLEAN! Home is a short 10 minute walk to the beach which has zero parking but makes it a nice quiet area. Home is laid out well. Elevator was perfect to get luggage to each floor. Heated pool under the home was amazing for the kids and the full bath right next to the pool was very convenient. Great vacation! Would absolutely recommend this home!!!

Ladies Gone Golfing

This property worked fabulously for our group of 9 ladies. We ranged in age from 42-75 and played 3 great days of golf. The bunkbeds were not ideal for adults, but we preferred that to sharing beds. Some of the bedrooms were large enough to put in 2 full or queen beds instead of kings which would be ideal for a group like ours, but again we managed. Happily, we found a second refrigerator in the garage which others had suggested the property needed. The house was lovely and we celebrated a new marriage, a momentous birthday, and our friendships comfortably and happily. One minor issue kept this from being perfect, but it had nothing to do with the property rental itself. The previous renters had obviously rented bicycles and they were left in the driveway. I made a call to the property manager, she promptly called the company, and called me back to say they were on the way to get them. Unfortunately, that didn't happen...at all. We called the bike rental place the following day and got the bike lock numbers and moved the bikes ourselves to the side of the house. They were still there when we left 4 days later. They may still be there...who knows? It was only a problem because we had 4 vehicles and wanted to park in the driveway/garage, but ended up with one car in the overflow loop which was a short walk. Not a huge deal, but a bit aggravating. I would definitely rent this property again with a big group. :)

Amazing House...Perfect Location

Can't say enough great things about this rental and location. Minutes to the beach, shopping, restaurants and activities! AMAZING house, perfect for my group of 11 (6 adults and 5 children) and the private pool was an added bonus! Already checking dates for next year :-D

Fun getaway

This was a great place to stay with our extended family. Bedrooms were great size and living space was great so we could spread out and not feel like we were on top of one another. The only recommendation I would have for improvements would be a second refrigerator in the downstairs or garage area. For 12 people the one fridge was not enough and had to keep our drinks in coolers with ice and make more trips to grocery store since not enough space in the fridge. The beach was a short walk or bike ride away and not crowded which was perfect in this pandemic.

Fantastic vacation

We had a really great stay at 27 Corinne. It was very close to the house we rented last year but this house was more luxurious. The kitchen was so well stocked!! Non stick pans, baking dishes, spatulas etc were in plenty. It was a hike to get to the third floor bedrooms but we appreciated attached bathrooms to all the bedrooms. The living room area was a little small for our group of eighteen since we like to do a lot of group activities but it worked out. The staff responded quickly to any concerns we had. Overall, we had a relaxing 5 days over Xmas.

Great "Family of 13" vacation home!

Property exactly as described. Elevator & 1st floor bedroom was asset for 80yr old Grandmother. Kitchen was well stocked. Air conditioner on all 3 floors remained consistent even with the extreme temperatures outside. Bike rental made daily activities & adventures easy. Shuttle to the beach was perfect.

Beautifully Appointed with Very Comfortable, Cozy Furniture, and Cheery Beach Motif

Our family reunion was markedly enhanced by staying in this home. The kitchen was well appointed and there was ample table and bar area space for all to comfortably eat. All 14 adults felt we had enough space to not feel "on top of each other". The elevator was invaluable for loading and unloading luggage. Additionally, it came in handy for those of us with aging and diseased joints. The shuttle to the beach was readily available. We brought beach chairs with us and were very pleased to see a beach umbrella and beach cart in the garage. Owner instructions for opening and closing the house were clear and succinct. We have rented luxury resort homes before and all of us are very pleased with Property 281770!!! We would definitely rent this home again.

Beautiful home with lots of space!

We stayed in this home with 7 littles and 8 adults and we had plenty of room! The house had everything we needed in the kitchen and to hit the beach. The shuttle was super convenient and arrived in moments of calling. The pool was very chilly and the bugs were out in full force (bring bug spray!). We would stay here again in a heart beat. Beautiful home for a perfect beach stay!

My family stayed in this amazing property for a long Labor Day weekend and were blown away at what a beautiful place it was. There was no detail that was mediocre and we had more than what we needed. The beach is close by as the details suggested. Marg was a pleasure to work with. Overall a 5 star experience, could not recommend it higher!
