The space
Conveniently located near to the Hof train station, your suite is brightly lit, with big windows facing multiple directions. You’re a short distance from the centre of town and next to a relaxing public park, football pitch and golf course, skating rinks and olympic swimming pools, with verdant nature trails leading around nearby Saale river.

Modern design combines muted grey with wood accents and touches of greenery around the apartment. The comfortable living room/salon features a huge L-shaped couch that converts to a double bed if needed. A quality dining room table comfortably seats four. There are translucent white drapes as well as room-darkening shapes and a variety of lamps to get your lighting precisely right.

A portable Air Conditioning unit is available as well as central heating for all-year-round comfort.

A stylish kitchen is equipped with modern appliances and cooking basics: full-size refrigerator and freezer, modern microwave, oven, electric stove, toaster, hot water kettle and Nespresso coffee maker -- with capsules. Your suite is located on Hüttenwerkweg, a lovely street in Hof, just down the road from town’s central rail station and transportation hub. Your apartment overlooks the local Sportsplatz, a sport center and playing fields, with adjacent parkland and small children’s playground as well as seasonal public swimming pools and skating rinks. It’s a lovely and relaxing area year-round, with trails for riding and cycling.

Supermarkets and convenience stores, restaurants and bakeries are minutes away. You can either turn left from the apartment building entrance and walk across the bridge of the Saale river, the Sächsichesaale, then turn right and a quick left in the direction of the Hauptbahnhof, the main rail station.
Or turn right out of the building and then left along Ascher Strasse, adjacent to the sports complex. This will lead you after a few pleasant minutes’ walk to the quaint and picturesque town center of Hof.

FOOD, DRINK AND TREATS

Toward Hof center:
Biersalon Trompeter, Gastropub with rare beers at affordable prices. Great snacks to accompanty.
CHA CHA CHA Cooking, a small and intimate taste of West Africa. Intriguing sauces and pasta from the Nigerian chef.
Bistro Italiano da Antonella, an authentic taste of Italy, well-decorated, with delicious fish and meat dishes, delectable appetizers and scrumptious dessert. Try the tilapia and cassata siziliana.
Street food: Hof is famous for two delicacies: Schnitz, a sort of hotpot, and sausages that are boiled in coal-fired brass cauldrons. Just ask for the sausage man, called Wärschtlamo in the regional dialect. Or just follow the aroma with your nose.

Toward the Hof Hbf, the central rail station:
Other Place, one of the last great pubs in the area, with food and drink and a true Bavarian experience from the late afternoon to midnight. Try the potato salad and local dark beer.

Bäckerei Reinel on Bahnhofsvietel, a delicious selection of Bavarian baked goods, a local institution, open from the early hours. Try the fresh baked breadrolls and Mohnkuchen.

Jinyuan Goldener Garten, scrumptious Asian cuisine, with both Chinese and Japanese sushi in this simple family-run restaurant. Don’t miss the dumplings.
Ive – Croatian specialties and Mediterranean fish and vegetarian dishes. One of the top places in Hof. Try the grilled chicken.

Getting around
If you have a car, you’ll have free parking and an EV Charger on the premises. Street parking near the building is fine as well.

You’re just a 5-10 minute stroll from the Hauptbahnhof, the central station, which serves as hub for both rail and bus services.
