Welcome to your oasis on the Nature Coast! This property features unimpeded Gulf Water access and is in the heart of Homosassa Springs. This home sits on a deep freshwater canal, where manatee, dolphin, mullet, and a variety of other wildlife will greet you.The home boasts both a Florida room and a screened in porch where you can enjoy the waterfront views. Many restaurants and activities are accessible by both car and boat, or you can enjoy grilling at home with all the amenities of a full kitchen. This home is a fisherman's dream. The extensive seawall and boathouse (lift not operational) offers three boat slips, making it ideal for families and friends looking to be the first to the scallop grounds. The interior of the home is full of Old Florida charm with an updated feel. Your family can spend all day on the water and come back to multiple showers, dual hot water heaters, and a fish cleaning station, making it perfect for everyone's needs. The home sleeps 9 comfortably and has multiple gathering spots, ideal for quality time on Florida's Nature Coast. Paddleboards are available for use to get a quieter experience with the freshwater springs. The surrounding community is peaceful for those in need of a retreat. Once you spend time at Nature Coast Cottage, you will find yourself returning for years to come! *There are two security cameras on site for protection of the home when not in use. They are located over the garage facing the driveway and in the boat house facing towards the water.

This place is a winner. So close to the action and it's very close to relaxing too. House was very clean and had plenvirstty of space for everyone. This is my first VRBO rental. I can't say enough about the owners and their prompt replies. Zero issues here check with trip insurance because they are worthless and didn't refund us 1100 for a portion of the Trip we had to take off for due to Debbie. I strongly strongly strongly recommend using reputable travel insurance company and not VRBO. This has nothing to do with the owners just a word of caution.aboutnVRBOs trip insurance

We totally enjoyed our stay. So many positives: 3 slips for boats, industrial ice machine, 2 refrigerators (one in garage), great screened porch and outside area for sitting. It was close to Publix (forgot several items), big enough dining area for 10 of us to eat together, and clean! Host was quickly responsive to an issue and checked to make sure everything was okay after it was fixed. Didn’t get many scallops, but ate at The Freezer! So good! Would definitely recommend this home for any group!

Great place for a vacation!

The property was just as advertised! Great place for family vacation. Many things to do close by. Great for fisherman too. Having an ice machine is a big plus when going fishing or just out on the boat for the day. House was very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed! The home was absolutely perfect. Our host contacted us to be sure everything went smoothly during check in and asked if we needed anything. He also offered to place an order for us at a local fish market. We were able to put our kayaks in directly from the property’s dock. After fishing, the ice machine was SO convenient! Great house/location

We visited for spring break. The house had lots of space and a great backyard overlooking the canal. It was close to our manatee tour location and the park was nearby. This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. Our host was very friendly and helpful.

Mel's Birthday

This property fit the 6 of us "older" people just right. One floor so no stairs. Down the street from a great restaurant Margarita Grill and the Owner's left us a goodie basket with fresh fruit and snacks. We will be back for a longer stay and this time bring the boat! Celebrated Mel's 65th birthday with a manatee sightseeing trip which was on her bucket list! Great place!

Great Place in Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. We really liked the the recliners after a long day of sightseeing. The house is in great shape in a great location. Just a couple of miles from Homosassa State park. The Margarita Grill is just across the bridge and has great food. The only regret we had is we wished we brought the whole family.

Fun Place to Stay

Six old friends spent a week on the property. The weather was the only thing that didn't cooperate. The house was great; it had everything we needed: paddle boards, rods & reels, outdoor furniture, and the backyard swing. The location was midway to everything we wanted to do. The restaurants in the area are incredible. The owners were easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing family location

Our stay was everything we could have wanted and more. The house was very clean, large enough to fit our family and had so many wonderful additions. The boat dock was very nice, tree lights were a beautiful touch and the large ice maker was a huge plus. We would absolutely go back and recommend this to our friends.
