I am so glad that I chose to stay in this studio apartment. The hosts are very nice and helpful, and always responded immediately to any questions I had. It is so spacious that it really is much more like an apartment than a hotel room. Everything was very clean and nice. The lanai is also very spacious, and includes many chairs and a table. I spent a great deal of my time in Hawaii on the lanai, since the view of the ocean is spectacular. Being able to watch the Hiltonā€™s Friday night fireworks from the lanai is also a bonus. The kitchen has a nice modern oven and refrigerator/freezer, and all sorts of plates, glasses, utensils, cookware, and small appliances. The bathroom is large, with plenty of shelf space for storage and a really nice shower with great water pressure. The lighting throughout the apartment is attractive and ample. Windows and sliding glass doors make up an entire wall of the room. The air conditioning works great, although for much of the time I stayed cool enough just using the table fan. This may seem like a small thing, but there are also lots of outlets, so you are always near a place to plug in. The Ilikai is a nice hotel with a huge courtyard with large rock water features and lush foliage, and a great place to watch the sunset over the harbor. The room and the hosts exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend this apartment!

Of our 13 visits to Waikiki, this Condo surpassed all expectations. A well furnished kitchen and bathroom. A wonderful Ocean view. Too many amenities to list. Mark and Christine were wonderful accommodating Hosts ! Would give them a 6 out of a 5 star recommendation. Mahalo !

Location is key !! We spent countless hours on the balcony during our 7 week stay. From a beautiful sunrise with Diamond head peaking out to one side to gorgeous sunsets over the lagoon and ocean right in front of us, the location of this condo is wonderful. Every Friday night, we had a great view of the Hilton fireworks as well. The Ilikai is also located in a more quiet part of Waikiki. There are bus stops right in front of the hotel to take you easily throughout Waikiki. The condo itself is spacious with a complete kitchen (minus a dishwasher) and a great bathroom shower with good water pressure. The large smart TV was great although the couch wasn't that comfortable. The bed is a large king size with a firm mattress. The Ilikai has a laundry room right down the hall and is easy to use controlled with an app on your phone. For those wanting to rent a car, there is a Hertz in the lobby of the hotel. Unfortunately, the least expensive parking is a block away at currently 35 a night. There are convenient ABC stores across the street and down the block as well as a small Food Pantry grocery store a few blocks away. In addition, Amazon delivers right to your door.The hosts are wonderful and responded to our questions right away. We are looking forward to staying here again soon and are sad to have to leave. We definitely would recommend this condo for your stay in Waikiki !!

This was our third time to stay in this condo. As usual, it was sparkling clean, easy to check into. The view is beautiful, and so close to restaurants, shopping and of course the beach and lagoon. The bed and furniture are comfortable, and I appreciate the small kitchen table in the dining area. The lanai is furnished with a table and several chairs too. The kitchen is well supplied with any cooking pot or utensil you will need. I appreciate the walk in shower and all the storage areas in the bathroom and near the bed. The condo flooring, kitchen, air conditioning and bathroom is updated, unlike some others at the Ilikai. Mark and Christine are easy to work with, and there if you need them. We will be booking with them again next year.

Another Awesome Stay

This condo is our favorite in the Ilikai. We can't always get it but are super happy when we can stay. Easily the cleanest condo we have stayed in at the Ilikai. It is also the best "stocked". Enough of everything from dishes, glasses, coffee cups, towels, storage space. Everything is well marked so you don't have to worry about how anything works. The view from the lanai is spectacular. We had nothing to complain about at all. And the price comapred to hotels rooms in the area is quite good.

Excellent room, wonderful view

This is the second year we have stayed in this room, and we have been very happy there. The pictures on the Vrbo were exactly what it looks like. The kitchen is well stocked with just about any pot, pan, dish or glass you might need. Itā€™s nice to have a full size fridge and stove. There is plenty of storage for your things, and when youā€™re not enjoying the outdoors, they have a big screen TV with a DVD/Blueray player. The king size bed is comfortable, the couch makes an extra bed for one. We love the view, and the Ilikai. Itā€™s on the quieter end of Waikiki beach, with lots of restaurants, parks, beaches and even a mall nearby. The bus line is right out front, and Google Maps shows which busses go where. We already are booking the same room next year.

Waikiki stay with mum.

I am a local resident with no space at my shared studio apartment for guests. So when my mother said she would like to come for a six weeks visit l had to look for somewhere special. As an area resident l know the Iilikai is a great location. And the unit as listed seemed to have all the features and amenities we would need. What l was hoping for was a good bed for mum and a comfortable sofa bed for me. I as well was looking for a usable kitchen well supplied with all you would need to prepare and eat most of our meals in. A clean and accessible bothroom. And finally a lani setup for dinning. The unit more than met my expectations. The unit has clearly been renovated. The soaf bed was more than comfortable. Mum slept very soundly in the king sized bed. The wardrobe provided more than enough space for our clothing. Both the kitchen and bathroom were amply supplied. We able to eat breakfast and dinners on the lani. As to the lani view it was both an enchanting lagoon/ocean view and an endlessly interesting view of much of the Hilton Hawaiian Village resort. It was even fun to look down and see the early morning swimmers in the Ilikai pool. The Friday fireworks view was not total but still very good. All in all l am glad l selected this unit. Recently renovated, well supplied, clean, uncluttered and above all comfortable.

New College Journey

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful experience at the condo! It was spotless, perfectly decorated and the view from the lanai was simply amazing. We were visiting Hawaii for the first time from the East Coast and bringing our daughter to start her college journey on the island. Our 5 night stay here made this such an enjoyable experience as a family as well as the kickoff for us, during the final two days, as empty nesters. Christine was so awesome and answered all our questions quickly. She even shared a few recommendations for car rentals and excursions. We were pleased with every aspect of our stay and will definitely book with Christine again when we return to visit our new college freshman!

The views were incredible and we even caught the fireworks display. Easy walk to the beach (downstairs), to dining or delicious locally made ice cream! The valet service makes parking a breeze (additional cost) - they were fast with great service, even when busy. The condo was as described, in great shape and had everything we needed!

Ocean view and great location

Location, location, location. Everything posted in the VRBO posting is accurate as described but what we didnā€™t fully appreciate is just how great a location this apartment is in. Itā€™s in close walking distance (5-15 min) of so many excellent restaurants, the beach, shopping and bus transportation and bus tour pickup stops. You can get around easily on The Bus to see so many local attractions. Ilikaiā€™s heated, salt water pool is also a real treat. The owner, Christine, is most gracious and helpful. The kitchen was sufficient so we could cook breakfast and many of our dinner meals and enjoy eating on the lanai with its great view of the ocean and lagoon. We would highly recommend it for those who want a quality location in Waikiki at a reasonable price.

Thank you to Christine and Mark for having such an outstanding property available! I was lucky to find it had my dates available when I started looking. I would definitely stay again if the current 30 day policy allows for shorter stays in the future. Meanwhile Iā€™m confident other vacationers will find it as special as I did.

Perfect location to explore Oahu

The condo is exactly as described, super clean and has amazing views! We thoroughly enjoyed the pools, srestaurants and shops on the property. Itā€™s also within walking distance of many other restaurants/shops. We had an amazing view of the Hiltonā€™s Friday night fireworks directly from the condoā€™s lanai. Highly recommend renting Christineā€™s condo!
