The Space:

Aloha from Midway Vacations! Our team of local hospitality experts is dedicated to turning your Hawaiian getaway into a reality. When you stay at one of our properties, you can count on a professionally cleaned and meticulously maintained experience. We’re even available 24/7 should you need us.



This newly renovated studio offers stunning views of the city, ocean, and Ala Wai Canal from your lanai (balcony). Just a short walk from the warm sands and turquoise waters of one of the world’s most famous beaches, you’ll be perfectly situated for your Hawaiian getaway.



As you enter, you’ll find a comfortable and inviting space. The studio features two queen-size beds with new Beautyrest PressureSmart 2.0 Plush Mattresses, ensuring a restful night’s sleep after a day of island adventures.  For your entertainment, there’s a 75” Toshiba Smart TV, perfect for enjoying your favorite shows and movies. The kitchenette is equipped with a stovetop with two burners, a microwave, and a mini-refrigerator, making it easy to prepare meals or store your favorite snacks and beverages.



One of the highlights of this studio is the spacious balcony, where you can soak up the warm Hawaiian sun and enjoy the beautiful views. It’s the perfect spot for your morning coffee or to unwind in the evening with a glass of wine. Additionally, the full bathroom includes a convenient tub and shower combo for your comfort and relaxation.



In addition to its prime location and modern amenities, the Island Colony offers a range of fantastic facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. Take a dip in the sparkling swimming pool and relax in the cozy hot tub. You can also work up a sweat in the fitness center for a one-time fee of $10 (price is subject to change). All linens and towels, including beach towels, are provided. You also have easy access to laundry facilities located on the 6th floor (coin and credit-card-operated).



Parking in the building is $45 per day (price is subject to change), there is an open-air lobby, ATM, trash chutes on every floor, 24-hour security, and car/scooter/bicycle rentals on the ground floor of the building.

CAR/BIKE RENTAL INFO:

- There is an hourly Car Rental via Drive Hui - 2 stalls located within the Island Colony parking structure.

- There is a Bicycle Rental via Biki - Rental station across the street from the Hotel, on Seaside and Ala Wai Avenue.

- There is also a car rental company located on the 1st floor.



THE COMPLEX: 

- Coffee shop on the ground floor 

- Trash chutes are located on each floor 

- Coin or credit card-operated laundry room on the 6th floor 



HOW TO GET HERE:

From Honolulu Airport, it is just a 20-minute drive from your destination. Rent a car to explore or grab a taxi for around $45, depending on traffic. Look for signs on the way to the taxi area upon arrival. Enjoy your trip!

Check out: any time before or at 10:00 AM



Regarding early check-ins or late checkouts, we’re unable to confirm those requests at the moment. If you’d like to ensure you can either check in early or check out late, we’d suggest booking an extra night. In such cases, please reach out to Midway Vacations, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.



STARTER SUPPLIES:

We provide a welcome starter supply kit stocked with - one pack of coffee grounds, coffee filters, toilet paper, paper towel, tissue, can liners, salt & pepper, spray oil, laundry detergent, dish soap, sponge, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, body lotion, and bar soap. Please note that this is only a starter supply to make sure you have everything you need upon arrival.



HOUSEKEEPING:

Our professional housekeeping team has strict procedures and checklists to guarantee constant quality across all our properties. All linens and towels are professionally cleaned with scent-free detergent and high-temperature washing (180F). Our trained inspectors also check everything before each arrival.

 

The cleaning fee includes all of the services listed above and restocking for amenities after each departure. There will be an extra charge if excessive cleaning is necessary. Thank you for your understanding. 



LINENS & TOWELS:

You will receive one set of towels (bath towel, hand towel, washcloth, beach towel) per guest. Beds are equipped with a fitted sheet, two flat sheets, and a blanket. Linens for the sleeper sofa are on the sofa mattress, and pillows and blankets are in the closet.



BEACH ESSENTIALS:

We’ve got beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella ready for you in the unit so you can enjoy some fun in the sun. If you’d like a beach mat or snorkeling gear, just let us know—we’re happy to provide them upon request!



LAUNDRY ROOMS:

There is a laundry room on the 6th floor with coin and credit-card-operated washers and dryers. A single pack of laundry detergent is provided in your starter supply kit.



TRASH ROOM:

Trash rooms are located at the end of each floor.

Getting Around:

There is a very good bus system on the island, all buses are stopping in Waikiki. This building has a public parking garage ($35 per 24 hours), payable directly at the parking garage. Rates are subject to change.



Please note: current daily rate of $35 is valid for 24 hours. If the vehicle stays longer than 24 hours without paying for additional time, $50 fine will apply.
