We recently stayed here for a week and overall enjoyed many aspects of the hotel. The location is fantastic—right on the beach and close to shops and cafés. The gym is excellent, with more machines than most hotels, and the refillable water bottles and fountains are a great touch. Housekeeping was friendly and the team arranged connecting rooms for our family, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, there were a few disappointments. Although the official check-in time is 3:00 pm, we arrived on an early flight and reached the hotel around 11:00 am. While I understand that early check-in isn’t guaranteed, I had hoped for more effort to prioritise cleaning, as other hotels often try to do. Our room wasn’t ready until 2:57 pm, leaving us waiting in the lobby for nearly four hours without Wi-Fi access (since a room number is required to log in). We went to the Starbucks next door just to use the internet, which felt unnecessarily restrictive.
We joined a bracelet-making activity that became uncomfortable. The instructor was late, spent part of the session on a personal phone call, made negative remarks about guests, and abruptly left after about fifteen minutes. Management was understanding and apologetic and even offered a future upgrade, but it was a disappointing way to end our stay.
Despite these issues, we genuinely enjoyed the stay, but with better guest communication and activity staffing, this hotel could deliver an exceptional experience.
