Moondance Cottage is a newly renovated home nestled on the beautiful 170 acre Lermond Pond at the end of a quiet dead end road. This half acre tranquil escape has beautiful views of Lermond Pond and all the modern amenities needed to enjoy a relaxing and comfortable vacation. The cottage sleeps 8 comfortably with 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The open concept of the living room, dining, and kitchen with cathedral ceilings allows the beautiful morning sunlight as well as views of the water. The main living area also now is complete with air conditioning to make you comfortable on warm days.  This cottage is large enough for families but also intimate for a romantic getaway.  The wood burning fireplace in the living room is perfect to take the edge off chilly nights. Curl up with a book or cocktail on the front deck while the loons sing and dance in the evenings. 

The main level has 2 bedrooms, a king bedroom and then second bedroom has 2 twins that can be converted to a king. Both rooms have nice closet space. The full bathroom has double sinks as well as a tub/shower combination. The loft on the second floor has a cute reading nook as well as 2 twin beds that can be converted to a king upon request in advance. Comfort and attention to detail are noticeable throughout the house - from family board games, TV with Roku for streaming movies, to multiple-seating areas throughout the house for privacy, guests will love the comfort of staying at Moondance Cottage. 

The basement was recently finished off for an additional living area, queen bed, and now will have a full bathroom with stall shower which is accessible via stairs from inside or outside ground level access for ease when swimming or grilling. The laundry area is also in the basement and it all had AC. 

Lermond Pond offers great fishing and recreation. Please be aware of the town ordinances for watercrafts and rules to keep Lermond Pond clean and safe for everyone. Union is a short drive from the house where the Union House of Pizza has a variety of takeout food while Sterlingtown Public House has a beer garden and locally sourced farm-to-table menus. The Common Market is the closest grocery shopping store located in Union. Rockland and Camden are both 20 minutes from the cottage which have great dining, shopping, and waterfront views. Moondance Cottage is centrally located for a day trip to Bar Harbor (2 hour drive from the cottage).
