Area 51, a themed Micro Resort, is a combo of a renovated steel building, a cabin and a casita. This modern, yet rustic micro resort is located in historic downtown Hurricane, UT. Area 51 is a fun play on conspiracy, imagination and quality family time. Themed to capture the mid-century American road trip with a mix of route 66 and the 1950's flare with an occasional "alien" spoof. These pet friendly units sleep up to 27 guests in beds.

Located in historic downtown Hurricane UT (about 20 min. from Zion National Park main entrance). Minutes to Quail Lake or Sand Hollow Lake. Close to restaurants, grocery stores and antique shops.

You will have access to all 3 units and common areas.

Pool and Pool Area: This amenity consists of a play pool with a volleyball net, a shaded shamu shelf wading area as well as a large hot tub. The pool is common space area and is enclosed in a private fenced area with locking gates. DO NOT PROP gate doors open at any time.

NOTE: The hot tub is accessible year-round and is easy to heat. The pool is heated for Presidents Day weekend through spring break as well as the month of October as well as the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New year holidays. IF you rent the entire micro resort, the pool can be heated for an additional fee. We do not heat the pool in the summer months.

Trailer parking - ATV's, Side-by-Sides or Boats. Minutes to Quail Lake or Sand Hollow Lake.

This little gem is placed a short drive from Zion National Park as well as all the wonderful outdoor venues that the greater St. George area has to offer.

Area 51 is a Micro-Resort, comprised of 3 individual vacation home rentals with luxury resort pool/hot tub amenities. Rent the whole resort and enjoy the amenities privately. You may also book units individually and share amenities with other resort guests.

PETS: This home is pet friendly so the whole family can tag along for the vacation!
Bringing a pet, you will be subject to a one time $45 fee per pet.
Please notify us of the number, breed and weight of any pets you will be bringing. (all animals must be under 50 pounds)
We ask that you do not allow your pets onto the furniture.
We do provide lint rollers at the home for your use to assist us in removal of pet hair from furniture and bedding.
While it is impossible to remove all signs of pet hair, our cleaners do thoroughly clean the entire home including bedding and furniture.

Unit 1 - Atomic Love Shack

STUDIO WITH KITCHENETTE
This casita is a studio layout. You'll find a queen size bed with flat screen TV. There is a full bathroom with shower. The other side of the room will have a kitchenette and dining table. The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, microwave and toaster (no oven or cooktop). There is also a grill for your use out on the patio. This cozy couple's getaway is close to restaurant, grocery stores and antique shops.

Unit 2 - Roswell Cabin

3 BED CABIN
Updated kitchen with new counter tops, well equipped to host 6-7 guests. Great room with TV and dining area - the perfect space to kick back or play board games. This unit also has a great front porch with a grill, picnic table and conversation area. A cozy cabin experience in the city! Close to restraunts, grocery stores and antique shops.

Bedroom 1 - Queen bed, presented as a '57 Chevy truck bed, sleeps 1-2 persons. This room is at the front of the house. Private TV. Bright and open.
Bedroom 2 - Queen bed, built in design with private TV, located off the kitchen with a private entrance/exit to deck and back yard. Sleeps 1-2 persons.
Bedroom 3 - The Bunkroom sleeps 1-3 if using the trundle. Private TV. Next to bedroom 1 and shared bath.

Unit 3 - Hangar 18

After decades of government overspending and misappropriations, this recently defunded and declassified facility has been made available for your next adventure. Hangar 18 is a little-known nondescript building nestled in the quiet streets of downtown historic Hurricane UT and home to a few of our national secret spoofs! Come create memories with the family and have fun with the conspiracy spoofs throughout the project.

This converted steel building has been transformed into an amazing family fun themed spoof on the 1950's alien conspiracy (think Men in Black and bring your tin foil hats). Kids of all ages will enjoy a photo op with Ned and Blart, our two detained friends from the Galaxy next door, and take a tour of their classic Illudium PU 38 powered moon hopper spacecraft. Feel free to engage in a nerf gun war through the secret ventilation shafts and build up a static charge sliding down the big indoor slide or playing for high-score on the classic Atari video game of "Space Invaders".

Inside the real UFO replica enjoy your hand at xBox's flight simulator or one of many other games (game pass) on the bridge - buckle in, we do expect turbulence!

Hangar 18 is a 5 bedroom, 5 bath facility that sleeps 14 in beds. It boasts a full-service kitchen with ample dining space inside and out for your gatherings. The patio is ensconced under a rough sawn timber pergola with Eddison patio lighting and outdoor grill and conversation space to enjoy evening overlooking the pool.

There is room for two more guest to sleep on the sectional sofa, but bedding is not provided. We do have a port-a-crib in the unit.
