Calypso's Cottage is a stylish, light-filled beach house, with fireplace and bay views. It also has a great rear deck, lovely garden for the kids and is only a 200 metre walk to beautiful Chinamans beach. Calypsos is private and cosy and very well appointed - including hot outside shower - perfect for a romantic couples only getaway or family holiday.

7 night minimums apply for the 3 week blocks below. To book, select these exact dates:

- Arrive: Tuesday 5 Jan | Depart: Tuesday 12 Jan

Where will I be?

Calypso's Cottage is located at the northern end of Hyams Beach but is still only a short walk to the local Hyams Beach Cafe and beaches of Hyams. It is particularly close to Chinamans beach and its beautiful white sand.

Why choose Calypso's Cottage?

A stylishly decorated cottage with enjoyable water views from the back entertaining deck as well as the dining/kitchen area. Calypso's Cottage is also perfect for a winter break with its wood fireplace in the lounge room. There are some feature stain glass windows in some rooms and white washed floorboards throughout.

How is the property laid out?

Calypso's Cottage is a single level house with entry via the front deck, into the lounge room where there is an open fireplace for crisper evenings. The first bedroom, featuring a queen bed and built-ins looks out onto the front native garden. The cottage flows through to the open plan kitchen and dining off which there is a laundry/bathroom. Off either side of the dining room are the two more bedrooms - a queen bed, walk in wardrobe and en-suite and the other having a single bed, trundle and amoire. Both back bedrooms and dining room have access to the back deck.

Wi-Fi, Internet, Netflix or Pay TV - will I have it?

Complimentary Wi-Fi is available and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. Please note that neither The Holidays Collection nor the owner can guarantee 100% that Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important, please therefore always have a backup plan.

What about outdoors?

The deck features an outdoor dining set, a BBQ, and beautiful views through to Jervis Bay. There are steps down to the large backyard where there is a hot outdoor shower.

Staying warm or keeping cool?!

There is an open fireplace, gas heater, and ceiling fans in two of the bedrooms.

What about sheets, towels and other supplies?

Calypso's Cottage provides linen and bath towels for guests. Please remember to bring your favourite beach towels.

Parking for cars, boats etc?

There is a driveway for parking two cars.

Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay?

Sorry, Calypso's Cottage is not a pet friendly property.

What are the minimum stay rules?

- Summer Season: Between 2 and 7 nights, depending on the property
- Easter: 4 nights
- Long Weekends: 3 nights
- All other times: 2 nights

Are there any special Summer Season rules?

Please note that during Summer Season, our properties may have designated changeover days so as to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
