Make yourself at home in this 3-bedroom peaceful Brown County 7 acre wooded retreat. Centrally located, just 10 minutes drive to Nashville, 15 minutes to Brown County State Park, 25 mins to Yellowwood and 15-20 mins to Lake Lemon and 35 mins to Bloomington.
You will enter our home, into a brick foyer with benches to allow you to remove your shoes and plenty of hooks to hang jackets and other things.
The foyer is in the center of the home with the large family room to the right and the main living area to the left. As you enter the main living area you will come into the fully stocked kitchen with stovetop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, farm style sink, complimentary coffee area, toaster, blender and more.
We have 3 private bedrooms all with queen memory foam mattresses, plenty of pillows (hard and soft), extra blankets for your comfort and stay cool with the ceiling fans.
The master bedroom is on the first floor and has its own private fireplace, walkout patio doors to the deck overlooking the pond, smart TV, Alexa and a private desk area in the room to leverage the high speed WiFi network.
There is a full bathroom just off the private hallway with shower stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels and wash clothes. There is an interior laundry room with a washer and dryer just off the bathroom.
On the second floor there are two bedrooms and a shared hall bath.
The first bedroom has a walkout balcony that overlook the pond and woods property. There is a reading nook with a table and rocking chair for your own little private space.
The second bedroom also has its own little reading nook too with a large chair and side table.
Enjoy the large family room, complete with comfortable modular sofa, 65” Smart TV, Nintendo Switch, gaming table for cards, puzzles and board games, book shelf with various novels, cozy fireplace and vaulted ceiling. There are double doors that walk out to the patio with outdoor seating, a dual grill with propane or charcoal and a hot tub to unwind and enjoy some family time or quiet time.
As you explore the area, you'll find yourself surrounded by our wooded paradise with a walkout deck to a private pond to enjoy catch and release fishing or just a quiet time to take in the birds and nature around you. Just past the pond you will see a stone walking path that takes you back to a relaxing fire pit area with ample seating and nature all around you. There are lights strung throughout the trees and plenty of wood to enjoy a fire together and toast some s’mores. The woods have maintained walking trails throughout the wooded property and clearly marked property signage. An added extra treat is the private guest 9 disc golf basket course scattered throughout the property for your fun and enjoyment.
