Gut: Sauberkeit
Esra, our host, was brilliant. She was incredibly helpful right from the start and when we had questions, she responded quickly with suggestions and assistance including recommending a transfer company for the airport runs who was great. The house was clean and as there were only 3 of us, we had a floor of the house each (there are 4 including the ground floor living area) with a bedroom and a bathroom (there are 3 double bedrooms and 2 singles - the singles don’t have aircon). I had the basement bedroom which was dark (but I like that!) and it was lovely and cool (pics attached). The bathrooms looked new and had great showers. Everything in the house was clean and new. The spiral staircase to the basement wouldn’t be great if you had mobility issues but it was fine for me. It is a good base as it is only about 10 mins walk to the Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern etc and some lovely restaurants as well as trams to the Spice Bazare and over the Bridge to the other side where you can get cruises on the Bospherous. We mainly walked though as it was easy despite a few hills! The kitchen could do with a few more plates etc for if more people stayed but this is minor and we’d stay here again.Thank you Esra!
