Gut: Sauberkeit
The good: great location near town square. Clean. Easy access & parking. Ample hot water (good pressure) and functional kitchen. Responsive management. Listing photos accurate. The not so good, at least for renting in winter months: there is one mini split as pictured to the rear of the living room that is the only source of not only AC as disclosed in the listing, but heat. There is no built-in heat source for the two bathrooms and 2 bedrooms, other than using the supplied space heaters. Otherwise one must leave bedroom doors open to let the heat distribute into all areas. But in cold weather, the bath areas are against exterior walls far from the mini-split. I also question the breaker capacity to run multiple space heaters. I blew a breaker on the first night and learned both bedrooms run off the same breaker. After adjusting the settings I was able to adequately heat the bedrooms. The bedrooms are not that large so a space heater does the job, at least for the temperatures during my stay. Also be aware that the thumping of guests walking above the 1st floor is loud. Ear plugs and sound machines will not mask the noise. It is a wood frame ceiling and if you have active guests above you as I did, you will hear walking, bed frames creaking. For a few nights, doable. It got old after 6 nights for me at least. Given local prices, this falls into the affordable for 2 bed units so I suppose it comes with a few idiosyncrasies. The host was responsive tried to address my concerns.
