There were a couple of issues

No where in the property decided it say there is a $10/day parking fee you pay at a toll booth when entering Jekyll. That was a $50 surprise. Otherwise it was a nice condo. TV stopped working on day 4 and the property manager did not answer our call

Wonderful Condo with a Terrific Ocean View

I would absolutely recommend staying at this condo. Both the patio and deck have ocean views. It was clean and just as advertised. I gave a four rather than five star review about communication because a week before our stay I had sent a question via the message feature on Vrbo and didn't receive a response; but my question wasn't particularly important. My only other, very minor gripe, is that while the condo featured a coffee maker and filters, it didn't include coffee. In my experience with other overnight services, coffee is standard. But like I said, that's small potatoes. I recommend staying here.

Beach getaway

The place was perfect. The kitchen is equipped with everything we needed to make brunch. Outside was an ancient live oak that provided a place for song birds to greet me every morning. The ocean isn’t loud and all night it’s gentle sounds filled my room. Across the road was a walking path around a pond where we found turtles and a gator or two resting in the afternoon sun. If only I could’ve stayed longer

Great Mini-Vacay

Villa 152 is a clean, newly renovated property that covered all of our needs for a 4-night stay. The kitchen was amply stocked with dishes and cookware, but the addition of a pitcher and a large pot or dutch oven would be nice. The furniture is very comfortable and the ocean view is perfect! No complaints from us and we will stay here again!

We had a great time at the Villa. The rental company was amazing- they helped when we lost a key and when we got locked out of our villa. The Villa itself was very nice and matched the listing well. The location just off Driftwood beach was wonderful.

Clean, quiet spot on Jekyll

Excellent spot on the North end of the Island very close to Driftwood Beach. The realty company called around 1:00 pm and let us know the condo was cleaned and ready early. The check in process was smooth and friendly and when we arrived at the property- it was spotless and as advertised. Very comfortable and perfect for a couple or a couple with up to two small children. My wife and I had a great time and would stay here again.

Nice Condo with Wonderful Ocean View

My husband, 15 year old, 5 year old, and I stayed in this condo for four nights. Would love to have stayed longer, but my husband had to get back to work. The condo was nice, but there are a couple of things that could use improvement. For one, the check-in process was very time consuming. We arrived just before 5:00 and were told our key would be at the front desk at Villas by the Sea. Our key wasn’t there and we had to wait 30 minutes just to receive the key. Most condos we stay in just have a keypad to enter a code. This condo definitely needs that. We also had issues with the card not opening the door, which wouldn’t be an issue if we just entered a door code. The condo itself really needs an ice maker. The refrigerator does not have an ice maker and there were trays of ice. When you are staying at the beach, you go through a lot of ice. It was inconvenient to not have an ice maker. The neighbors were singing loud karaoke next door the first night (after midnight), so be ware that the walls are thin. The two times we went to the pool, there were more than 50 other people there. We didn’t visit the pool much due to that. It was quiet for the most part, though. You don’t have beach access here at high tide, so you need to go to public access. My husband doesn’t like Villas by the Sea because of the high tide situation. You have a nicer ocean view than the hotels in the island because the condos are so close to the ocean, though. The furniture was comfortable for the most part, but the master bedroom seemed warm at times. We brought our own bedding, which I would suggest if you prefer 100% cotton. The bedrooms do not have ceiling fans. You may want to bring a fan if you can’t sleep without one. The condo was nice and roomy. We really enjoyed the upstairs balcony off the master bedroom. Be careful going out through the living room porch area. I kept missing the lower step there and tripping. I would stay here again, but when it’s a less busy time of the year. It is one of the nicer condos we have stayed in on Jekyll Island.
