Welcome to the Cottage at Refuge Ranch! This quaint, fully renovated cottage is conveniently located 40 miles south of ATL. A 10 min drive north carries you to the Tanger Outlet and downtown Locust Grove and a similar trip south brings you to Jackson. This 5.3 acre property offers plenty of space to relax and unwind. The Cottage at Refuge Ranch is perfect for guests on business travel, a girls' weekend, exploring area attractions & romantic couple getaways! Equestrian and pet friendly.

While this property was completely renovated in the past, it will receive another mild renovation in April of 2021 and guests as of May 1, 2021 will enjoy a freshly renovated, tastefully decorated cottage offering privacy and country solitude. More interior pictures will be uploaded upon completion of the renovation.

The Cottage at Refuge Ranch sits on 5.3 acres of beautiful pasture land, and is part of a larger family farm. Depending on whether or not guests are housed in the Refuge Ranch Log Cabin, guests paying an additional fee may access the Ranch's stocked pond, hike the over 1 mile long nature trail. This property is equestrian and pet friendly, with a nice fenced in outdoor kennel for outdoor dogs.

Owner is available to assist guests as needed, especially if this stay includes accessing other amenities of the Refuge Ranch.

The Cottage at Refuge Ranch is part of a family farm, but the only farm animals you'll see are the local wildlife since whitetail deer and turkeys abound.

Nestled just 30 miles south of Downtown Atlanta, Locust Grove, GA is home to an impressive selection of attractions, from shopping to train watching to hiking and beyond. Henry County’s southernmost city has a rich, exciting history that’s easy to see through its many points of interest. Even before it was incorporated, Locust Grove was a major rail distribution center for goods, such as cotton and peaches. Today, you’ll find an eclectic mix of shopping and recreational opportunities that make the city a great destination for a girls’ trip, a family vacation or just a fun day out.

Located in historic Butts County just 40 miles south of Atlanta, Jackson is a progressive and diverse city, rich in history and culture. Historic homes, big city amenities, and small-town charms abound as you drive through our downtown area. Founded in 1826, Jackson boasts a full-time police force, fire department, public works, and electric department. We also are partners with the Butts County Water and Sewer Authority, providing water and sewer service to our residents. We are located just minutes away from beautiful Jackson Lake, Indian Springs State Park and The Village at Indian Springs, High Falls State Park, and Dauset Trails Nature Center. The Jackson Council for the Arts has regular displays, art shows, and musical concerts from time to time. Come visit Jackson and see what we have to offer!
