Welcome to Casa Azzurra by Fieldtrip, a striking desert retreat where Italian influences meet bold, modern architecture. Set on a secluded 10-acre expanse in the heart of Joshua Tree, this design-forward home is an escape into both style and serenity.
The villa's blue limewash exterior mirrors the ever-changing hues of the desert sky. Inside, curved archways soften the strong architectural lines, while an interior garden flourishes with native desert plants. Skylights and high windows bathe the space in natural light, accentuating textured walls and carefully curated decor.

Each of the four spacious bedrooms features an ensuite bathroom. Three of these bedrooms, enveloped in moody hues and velvet-draped elegance, are connected to the main living area via an open-air breezeway, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor spaces. A short walk from the main house, the standalone guest casita offers an entirely private retreat, designed as a haven of solitude. Wrapped in warm wood paneling, the casita features custom-built furniture, an ensuite bath, and a full-ceiling skylight positioned directly above the bed—perfect for stargazing from the comfort of crisp linens.
At the heart of the home, the main living area is designed for gathering. A chef's kitchen, outfitted with premium Forte appliances, inspires culinary creativity, while a state-of-the-art projector system with surround sound transforms the space into a private cinema—perfect for intimate movie nights.

Step outside large sliding glass doors throughout the property and immerse yourself in the estate's amenities and views. Lounge by the pool and built-in spa, or gather around the fire pit as the desert sky turns gold and violet. The outdoor dining area, shaded by wood beams, provides the perfect setting for al fresco meals. Take the outdoor staircase to a rooftop deck for panoramic views. A pickleball court and bocce ball court invite guests to enjoy an active desert lifestyle.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW

- CHECK-IN PROCESS - Checking in at your FIELDTRIP home is now easier than ever. FIELDTRIP's guidebook contains everything you need to know. From reservation details, property information, check-in instructions, local recommendations and add-on services to enhance your stay, you'll find it all here.

- PARKING - Guests are limited to a maximum of 6 cars, depending on size. Renters and their daytime guests should park in the garage or driveway. There is NO on-street parking available. To avoid ticketing or towing, please ensure all cars are not extending into or blocking the sidewalk.

- PETS - Pets are permitted with the receipt of a pet fee. The fee is $150 per pet, up to 3 pets. Please inquire about Service Animals and next steps to waive the fees.

- EARLY CHECK-IN / LATE CHECK-OUT - Stay a little longer and add up to 2 hours before or after your arrival for $75/hour. Half days (11am arrival or 4pm departure) are also available for 50% of the nightly rate for the night needing to be blocked to accommodate.

- DELIVERIES - We are unable to accept packages at the homes. Please plan accordingly and utilize holding packages at the local post office or nearby Amazon Lockers.

- EVENTS / RETREATS - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Small events within our permitting requirements are considered. Please note that all eventsrequire formal, written approval from the County of San Bernardino. Additionally, an event fee starting at $1,000 will apply, with the final cost determined by the specific scope and coverage of the occasion.

- PHOTO/VIDEO & COMMERCIAL USE - APPROVAL REQUIRED PRIOR TO BOOKING. Guests are welcome and encouraged to take photos for personal use (and feel free to tag us @stayfieldtrip). Drones are not permitted due to county restrictions. While we welcome professional media projects, all commercial, professional, promotional, or revenue-generating photography and videography are subject to production fees. Additionally, any filming on the property is permitted only upon receiving formal approval from the County of San Bernardino. For these activities, we require payment in advance along with a signed production agreement, production insurance, and a location release. IF THERE IS ANY DOUBT IF YOUR SHOOT IS COMMERCIAL, PLEASE INQUIRE FIRST. Any guests found to be doing a commercial shoot will have their reservation canceled. Any commercial shoots discovered during or after a stay will be responsible for the production fee.
