"Pine Ridge View" is a charming farmhouse nestled in a private mountain setting but only about 5 minutes from the town of Julian.
Come relax and take in the magnificent mountain views—on a clear day, you can see all the way to the ocean.
It's the perfect place to relax and create lasting memories with family and friends. Enjoy peaceful mornings with breathtaking sunrises and unforgettable sunsets.
**We are pet-friendly ($65 per dog - per stay). Please note- the property is not fully fenced.

The space
This spacious 4- bedroom home sleeps comfortably up to 8 guests and is nestled in highly desirable community of Pine Hills.

Relax and enjoy the gorgeous views while sipping coffee from the back deck.
Enjoy the spectacular sunsets with expansive views over the mountains and a beautiful sunrise.

The vaulted wood ceilings in the living room makes the home bright and airy.
The carefully selected and unique furniture feels homey, yet stylish making it a cozy space and fun place to relax.

Enjoy a comfortable king size bed in the master bedroom, the other three bedrooms feature queen size beds.
*Please note, one of the bedrooms is a walk through. Please let me know if you’d like additional privacy, as I can arrange an extra entrance. This way, the room won’t serve as a walk-through space.

Fully equipped kitchen is perfect for cooking up light meals. We also provide coffee, tea, olive oil and spices.

Listen for the great horned owls among other birds. Wild turkeys and deer are just some of the wildlife that you will be sharing this home with.

**FIRE DANGER. ABSOLUTELY NO fire pits or other flame producing items on the property. Julian is high and dry and fire danger is a real threat here. You could face charges by the county and lose your deposit and/or face additional charges. Breaking this important house rule will result in immediate removal from property

**CLEANING. We always put our guests safety first. This home is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized after each guest. The linens are washed and dried in the hottest setting. Our cleaning crew takes steps to protect themselves, such as wearing gloves and other personal protection equipment.

**PETS. Dogs are allowed with prior approval. Dogs are not allowed on furniture or bedding. You agree not to leave your dog (s) unattended inside (crate ok) or outside the property. Any damages or extra cleaning will be withheld from the damage deposit.

**FIREPLACES. There is wood burning fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the kitchen. We do not provide firewood. Only seasoned wood is allowed to burn, please do not use duraflame firelog or any other similar starters. Do not dump ashes outside, leave them inside the fireplace or in specially designed tin bucket next to the fireplace. The house also has central heating and cooling.

**MISC. Drones, shooting, fireworks or hunting is not allowed. Please do not use the property to charge your electric vehicle or bring something that draws large amounts of power.

**NOISE. The property is located in a quiet, residential area and large parties or events are strictly prohibited. Please keep noise levels reasonable at all times, especially in the evenings after 9PM.

**WILDLIFE. Sighting of wildlife is not unusual. Julian is home to coyotes, mountain lions, bobcats, deer, rabbits and different snakes. If you encounter any animals, please be respectful of their habitat and admire them from distance.

**SAFETY. We have two exterior security cameras on the property for your safety and ours. There are no recording devices inside the property or anywhere on outdoor amenity spaces. Please do not attempt to disable or redirect the cameras as it may result in full forfeiture of the security deposit.

** GUESTS. Only the number of guests listed on the reservation/booking are allowed on the property. Any additional visitors can only enter the property with the owners prior approval. Please note, outside, there are three steps to the deck and one step inside from one of the bedrooms and hallway to the bathroom.

**LIABILITY WAIVER. This rental is privately owned and the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the property. By accepting your reservation you and the other members in your party as the GUESTS agree to release the HOSTS from all liability, including financial responsibility relating to injuries and personal property damage that may occur during your stay. You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising while on the property and hold owner/hosts harmless.
No refunds will be made for circumstances beyond our control, acts of nature, or weather related problems.

Julian Jewel!

This is a lovely property that starts with a beautiful view from the deck as you approach the entry. It was large with 4 bedrooms that easily fit our family. The wood burning fireplace was so cozy with the cool nights. The location is just out of town but so easy to drive to. It was very comfortable and clean. The owner, Dana, was very accomodating to us and very quick to respond. We had a fantastic time and would stay here again!

Large secluded home with great views

Large spacious living room, a large spacious balcony for outdoor eating and great unobstructed views of the Cuyamaca mountains. You won’t see neighbors in any direction. You might catch sightings of deer and wild turkey.The first bedroom has its own bathroom. Two bedrooms and a second bathroom are accessed through a third bedroom so a bit awkward, but we adjusted quickly. It was a relaxing and pleasant getaway. Will go again!

Nice accommodations for our trip

We didn’t spend much time at the actual property as we were in Julian for a wedding. I did very much enjoy eating breakfast outside both mornings partaking in the view and sunshine. If we get the chance to visit Julian again I would stay in this house again. It has lots of outdoor seating to be enjoyed in warm weather. It is private but with easy access to recreational activities in the area. It would be a good base camp.

Peaceful and Secluded Getaway with a Unique Layout

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property is secluded and incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect getaway. We thoroughly enjoyed our three nights there. One thing to note for future guests is that access to two of the bedrooms is through another bedroom, which might be a consideration depending on your group’s needs. Overall, a fantastic experience!

Beautiful and Near Wedding

We had a wonderful stay during our two nights in the area for a wedding. The location was very easy to find and access, and we appreciated how clean and comfortable everything was. Although the layout required going through one of the rooms to reach two others, it worked out perfectly for us with our two kids. We also visited several other rentals where our family and friends were staying, and we truly felt that ours was the best choice. Thank you for providing such a lovely experience!

Wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay! The cabin is beautiful and in a fantastic location tucked away in the forest. We went up to Julian with my dog to escape the fireworks, and it was the best choice! Just lovely! We are already planning on coming back in the fall. We can’t wait!

Wonderful property

This is a lovely home, beautifully decorated and very clean. We visited Julian for a wedding and this was the perfect place for our family to gather. I inquired about a crib for our toddler and Dana provided a pack n play. Great communication with the host. Definitely recommend this home.

New Years weekend getaway

The property and house was perfect for our family celebrating New Years. The large kitchen and family room was great for accommodating 8 adults, 2 dogs and a 5 month old. Communication was great with the Host as well. The only thing to mention was that you have to go thru one bedroom to get to the other two bedrooms and additional bathroom. We were with family so it wasn't a problem for us. Would definitely stay again.
