This unit has the warm charm of a home that is clearly loved and carefully maintained. We have stayed in several other units at Turtle Bay, but none have been remodeled as beautifully as this one. Everything was spotless, well-kept, and in perfect working order. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything I needed to cook, which was a pleasant surprise. The bed and furnishings were comfortable and felt new. During the day and evening hours, the unit truly felt like a peaceful dream retreat.Unfortunately, our stay was disrupted by excessive noise from the unit above. There was a man who seemed to be awake through most of the night. I was repeatedly awakened by him sliding something heavy across the floor at 1 am, 3 am, and other late hours, along with loud phone conversations. On the first night, I assumed he was preparing for an early flight, but after several nights, it became clear this was a nightly pattern. It appeared he might be a long-term tenant rather than a short-term guest.While occasional sounds are expected in shared spaces, the constant late-night noise was unreasonable. His footsteps were heavy and carried clearly enough to make restful sleep very difficult.The contrast between the peaceful, well-cared-for condo and the persistent noise above was disappointing. As much as I appreciated the owner’s care and attention to detail, I would unfortunately not stay here again because of the noise situation.

From the outside, the property looked old and rundown, as did the majority of the community. The individual unit itself had new floors and kitchen countertop, as well as furnishings that were appealing. However, the bathroom had a bug problem, there was poor ventilation, and there were dead cockroaches in the house when we arrived. Also, we chose to leave a day early, and despite having paid for seven full nights, a property manager came to our door to chide us for being a few minutes past the 11 AM checkout time. Again, we were checking out 24 hours early, and were not late for anything. It wasn’t the best way to end our trip.

The complex itself was clean and well maintained, though it's clear that the complex was built in the 80s or earlier. The specific unit was clean and updated, though the AC unit wasn't working properly and the lights outside the door and the stairway leading to the door did not work and made night time entry difficult without a flashlight. The unit had a brand new washer and dryer, so I hope these problems will be fixed soon. Overall, it's a pretty good deal.

Great place and responsive host!

We enjoyed our stay. The condo was as we expected and was very clean. We had a small issue with a patio screen, but after we reported the problem, they were very responsive to promptly fix it. Communication was excellent would definitely stay again.

Nice but tiny bathroom sink

Great location and great communication! While the apartment was overall very clean, we were not thrilled to find 4 really large dead cockroaches (2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room) upon arrival. The bathroom sink was very small and, although there was a medicine cabinet, there really wasn't enough room in it. A few shelves or another medicine cabinet would be helpful.

Lovely stay

It was a lovely stay at the condo. Unit was as advertised, clean, safe, access to pools and all of Turtle Bay resort amenities. Management is responsive through text and was kind enough to help us out when there was construction next door. All in all a great experience!

Great place

I liked this place. The inside was modern and well-decorated. It had the essentials for a beach vacation: beach gear, cooking utensils and dishes/silverware. The lanai connects to the golf course and we loved how much space this provided, it really felt like a back yard. This place was also close to everything. The beach was a short walk away and grocery store was a 10 minute drive. We would definitely stay here again.

Great

Had a hiccup when getting into the unit but the host answered immediately and helped us out. Place was clean and just as pictured. The bed pillows were super flat but that’s not a huge deal breaker and I’m sure if we would have said anything to the hosts they would have sent over new ones. The AC units in the living room and bedroom worked great and cooled the rooms down fast. They even had beach stuff (cooler,chairs,snorkel). It was like a 5 minute walk to the resort. It’s the lower unit so we could hear the kids in the upper unit playing around. The pool is right in front of the unit so that was nice. My only “complaint” is that you get charged a cleaning fee but when you leave they have you take your trash out and clean your dishes. But otherwise great stay and would recommend and would stay again

Beautiful location

I proposed to my fiancĂ© at this house. She said yes and the environment was great. I loved the bird of paradise flowers and all of the attention to detail. I didn’t eat at the house because of the good restaurants around.

Good 1 bedroom option near Turtle Bay Resorts

You can walk to dinner or lunch at the resort, and you can use the public lagoon in front of Roy's restaurant. There are pools (non-hotel) at the condo, and one is right in front of this unit. There was a night cross-breeze with the front screen door and back screen door, but there are 2 a/c units if you need them. The kitchen has what you need and they even had tea and coffee products available. You are about 20 minutes drive from Haleiwa, and 10 minutes in the other direction to a large/fun food truck area.
