Overall this house has a beautiful view, is in a good location, has a nice room set up, is clean and well equipped, but, for the high cost, we had expectations that were unfortunately not met. We had hoped management would be more quickly responsive and communicative. It took 2 days and 3 messages for someone to respond to a request. Then, when I messaged on our second morning regarding concerns about the house, I never heard back via the vrbo app. I sent 2 messages and then had to call the local contact before I reached someone more than 24 hours later. The hot tub was cold when we arrived. It took 2 days before it was hot. By later in the week it had cooled down again. The kitchen faucet was loose. The sliding door in the master bath didn’t close in between the toilet and rest of bath. There was a dispenser in master bathroom shower for shampoo/conditioner/body wash yet only the conditioner worked. The main bath toilet has difficulty flushing/often runs, the towels are falling apart, there was significant mold on the shower liner in main bath. Upon our arrival, there was caked on food on many dishes, glassware, Pyrex and rice cooker. There is a leak from a downstairs bedroom window when it rains. Management helped to have some things fixed. They have told me that they will address our other concerns that were not fixed during our stay. Again, for such a high cost, we hoped to not have so many issues.
