We are a close walk to Kahalu'u Beach for snorkeling or surfing, and a short drive to Magic Sands Beach for playing in the waves and the sand. KTA market is right up the road from us, close enough to walk if you choose. Keauhou Shopping Center immediately close by has a theater, Longs Drugs, several restaurants, other shops & a Post Office.

The rental was exactly as described and more. The management team was very communicative. It looked amazing and was very clean. The beds were super comfortable, and we had a great view on the patio. They had everything we needed for relaxing at the beach and doing a bit of snorkeling, but we definitely took advantage of the great location to visit the whole island. We would definitely rent this again in the future.

This updated unit has very tasteful and elegant decor. Facilities in the complex are as described and well-maintained. Access to a remote black sand beach that doesn't get a lot of traffic was fantastic. Some of the residents in the area are a little unwelcoming and are very strict on any noise during quiet hours. Watching TV for example was too loud for our neighbors. Nothing the host could do, but I would warn future families if they have loud kids to be aware and respectful for the neighbors.

This condo is absolutely beautiful. It was incredibly clean and very well stocked. It literally has everything from beach chairs to coolers, fishing poles, and snorkel gear. The beds were all super comfortable. The property management company was very responsive and helpful if we needed . I would highly recommend this place, we cannot wait to return!

Everything was absolutely wonderful and we found all the supplies we needed. It was a huge bonus to have all the sports equipment. Loved the quiet time rules as we were exhausted by 900 each night and it was perfect to not hearing all the partying. The deck was lovely, especially in the mornings listening to the birds and drinking coffee. The only slight complaint is that the king sized beds were a little too soft for us but hey, we were in Hawaii heaven so we sucked it up!

The condo was clean and comfortable and well stocked. The bed and pillows in the primary room were amazing, and despite no a/c, it was some of the best sleep of my life. The community was nice. Great location and awesome amenities. Cozy beds with a great view of the golf course out the main bedroom and living room. We had some issues with the fridge day 1 and when we reached out to our point of contact, didnt get a reply for a day or two. But was able to google the issue to fix the coldness for the fridge ourselves. Overall a fantastic trip and worth bragging about.

Above and beyond expectations!

This really had everything we needed and more for a family of 6. Enough rooms and beds. Both bathrooms were gorgeous. The area did not over heat and could maintain a very tolerable temperature. Some things to consider, if you’re a light sleeper, the birds wake up at 5:30am on the dot everyday. Personally we had no issues and it really further enhanced our experience. Door locking instructions need to be updated for sure. You need to tug and hold the door some so the lock can go through after pressing the main button to activate the system to notify the device it’s attempting to lock.

Lovely South Kona property

Excellent architecture, our building (#7) caught the breeze and was super quiet. Not a party destination which was wonderful. Great access to sunset shoreline. Nice pool and the location was close to groceries, Longs Drugs, Saturday market. Kinda weird was only plastic drinking glasses - we went to thrift store and got a couple of real glasses.

3 couples for a destination wedding

Great property, comfortable, clean and close to everything. Management company excellent. We would book again without hesitation. We enjoyed pool, pickleball and volleyball. The loft bedroom wasn't 100% perfect for an adult couple, but worked fine. The savings over a condo with another bed and bath basically paid for the van rental. Very happy with our choice!

Wonderful Condo

My family had a wonderful stay at this property. It was newly remodeled and beautifully done. The condo had everything we needed including boogie boards, umbrellas and a surf board. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and loved the view of the golf course. We enjoyed walking to the nearby beach and the swimming pool. I would definitely stay at this condo again!

The unit has very little privacy and with 2 bedrooms and a loft would not expect to be staying with just one couple. The neighbor strictly enforces quiet time at 9 pm even when you’re in your own unit talking or watching tv. There was no pickleball paddles or ping pong even though the property has both available.

Felt Like Home

We enjoyed our 2-bedroom condo with 2 baths and a loft. It was well provisioned with beach chairs, umbrella, boogie-boards, lots of beach towels and coolers so we could easily enjoy Hawaii! The kitchen has all we needed to cook our meals, which we did like at home. There was an outdoor porch that afforded us room to dine out and to relax, enjoying the beautiful surroundings. There was even a small outdoor couch. The condo has beautiful art throughout which made the environment feel welcoming. The entire space was artfully decorated. We had a great time making this home base to eat and relax together between our island explorations. The owners named their condo “House of Joy.” That was our overall experience! The property management team was communicative and responsive to all of our inquiries. They replaced a faulty smoke detector right away and even arranged an early check-in. Mahalo!

Wonderful Stay!

This property was a wonderful place to stay during our adventure around the Big Island. The condo was lovely - it had plenty of room for four adults and two children (they loved the loft). The large lanai was perfect to enjoy our meals and relax to watch the sunsets, sunrises, and the sounds of the birds. The Surf and Racquet property grounds were amazing - very well maintained with lots of interesting areas to explore. The kids especially liked the swimming pool and all the interesting trees and plants. Our family enjoyed the short walk to the shore to take in the sunsets and the water access at the north end of the property to look for turtles, fish and other creatures. We also appreciated the barbecue pavilion close by for cooking meals and many visitor parking spots as we had a second vehicle. The shopping centre just up the road (2 minute drive) was so convenient for shopping - grocery store, drug store, book store and various restaurants. We really liked this location as a home base for our many day trips around the island. We would highly recommend this property and hope to return again one day!

Beautiful place and perfect location

We stayed at a few places during our trip to the Big Island and this was by far our favorite. The apartment was clean, beautiful, and in a great location only a short drive to many attractions. The open-concept layout of the house made for great airflow and cooled off the place enough at night with all the fans running. It was a peaceful place to stay with enough pots and pans and tools in the kitchen to cook meals and we appreciated the many sitting areas around the apartment for relaxing both on the balcony outside and in the living room inside. We will definitely be staying here again if we come back.

Superbe endroit!

Nous avons eu le plaisir de sĂ©journer une semaine en famille et ce fut extraordinaire! Le site est superbe avec piscine, tennis, pong pong et volleyball! Petite plage tout juste au nord du complexe. Il fait trĂšs chaud Ă  Hawaii et ce complexe est bien Ă©quipĂ© avec de multiples ventilateur de plafond et sur pieds! Épicerie, pharmacie sur le chemin de descente au bords de mer pour ce rendre au complexe. Les deux seules options qui pourraient ĂȘtre ajoutĂ©es pour ĂȘtre un 5 Ă©toiles + serait l’air climatisĂ© et des raquettes de tennis et ping-pong. Nous en avons achetĂ© au Walt-Mart et avons pu profiter des installations! Bien situĂ© avec un vĂ©hicule! Merci +++
