Loon Lodge on Bear Lake

Come enjoy the place we have been making memories at for years! This beautiful 3 bedroom 2 bathroom is on the amazing Bear Lake in Kalkaska. The ultra clear lake is down 75 steps and a hill on the property. The Lodge is equipped with everything you need to make you feel right at home. . A large dock, fire pit, picnic table and patio furniture will meet all your outdoor needs. The Lodge is stocked with games and puzzles for all your family fun.

We are located on the AMAZING Bear Lake in Kalkaska MI! This allows for great fishing, boating, kayaking and swimming. We are within a 1/2 mile of endless ATV and snowmobile trails. We offer plenty of parking for multiple vehicles and trailer. The Lodge also has a 30 amp breaker for your RV if needed.

In the spring and summer we offer kayaks as part of the rental and you are welcome to upgrade to use a 20' pontoon boat that we will have ready and docked for you! There is also a fire pit and grill onsite to help enjoy being outside in the summer. Jump on your side by side or quad to ride through the nearby trails. You will not even have to load them up to get to the trailhead as there is access in our neighborhood

Come during the fall to enjoy the unbelievable color! You can warm up around an outdoor fire or use the woodstove in the living room.

In the winter there are endless options to have fun! If snowmobiling is not your thing there are countless hills to sled down, you could go ice fishing or just curl up by the fire and play a game! If you come in the winter you may want to drive a 4x4 or AWD vehicle to navigate some of the back roads.
