When we arrived, I genuinely thought we were at the wrong location due to the condition of the shared front and back yards. The areas were littered with toys, trash, and various household items. I even recalibrated my GPS and drove around the block trying to find the correct place. First impressions mattered, and this was concerning, especially since I was unfamiliar with the area.Inside, there were multiple issues. The stove did not work consistentlyâthe large burner would not light properly and only partially ignited when it did. There was no cutting board provided. The space felt more like a college apartment than a prepared short-term rental. There was visible trash under the beds, couch, and next to the coffee table, which raised concerns about overall cleanliness.Basic supplies were also lacking. We were left with one new roll of toilet paper and four partially used rolls, along with a mostly empty paper towel roll. There was only one kitchen towel and one washcloth provided, and no hand soap. The advertised hot chocolate packets were also not available. Additionally, one bath towel had a hole, and there was a noticeable smoke smell coming from adjacent units.Overall, this stay did not meet expectations for cleanliness, maintenance, or basic amenities. This was not a good VRBO experience.
