What a great place. The view is great. The access to several beaches, one for snorkeling & one for waves, is great. The location next door to the Montage is great. The beach bar at the Montage is great. The accommodations are great - we cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner with no problem. This place is great.

We had a wonderful stay in this condo at the Bay Villas. We have stayed at the Bay Villas often, and this was one of the best condos we have had the pleasure to stay in. Great views, very clean and nicely decorated, perfectly positioned close to the trail to Kapalua Beach, and very well stocked from the kitchen to the beach chairs. We loved the covered outdoor areas where we could enjoy the view while eating. The management association communicated often and was super easy to work with. We needed one small tweak with the cable TV, and they had it fixed within hours. We would absolutely stay in this condo again, and can't wait to return.

Perfect unit for my family of 4, with my in-laws in a unit nearby. The view was spectacular, the kitchen was just what we needed, perfect amount of space for 6 nights. We loved the special touches of local coffee and pineapple. We appreciated the beach gear that was available, though we only used the towels and one beach chair. It was wonderful having such different beaches so close...short walk in one direct for safe snorkeling, short walk in the other direction for waves large enough to tower over my 6'3" husband (he loved it). Will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Maui.

Rarely do the the pictures accurately represent what you actually get. But this one came through! I would even say it was better than advertised. Two story unit with views of the ocean, full kitchen, big bathrooms- just exactly what we were expecting. The service was amazing and communicating via text made everything seamless. We even added a late checkout since we had a late flight. Amazing stay for a family of 5!

Easy access for parking, easy access to the beach and walkways (more important), close to Montage (though it was noisy one night).Kitchen is perfect with views straight out to the water (whales making occasional appearances). Upstairs bedroom was cozy. Bathrooms were spacious. Couch was not the most comfortable but we didn't spend much time there.There are few things like the sliding screen door where the place is needing some TLC but it did not detract from our enjoyment.

Exceptional views, perfect location!

We really enjoyed our stay in Kapalua Bay Villas at this property. The views from every room are breathtaking! Sweeping ocean views from both balconies and large windows throughout. We saw whales every day from the various windows, and wow it's nice waking up to these views! This home is large and spacious, more than enough room for our family of four. The property is in a quiet, gated community, so much less active and noisy than mega resorts you will find further south on the island. Kids loved the pool, clean and not very busy, and even has an outdoor shower, bathrooms, and 2 Weber Genesis grills we used for grilling dinner while we swam. Easy walking distance to Kapalua beach, and another 5 min walk down the easy paved path will get you to Napili bay beach. You can also walk to Oneloa beach to the north, but it's quite a bit more rocky (and windy walk), so I recommend the other beaches for easy access. The home itself is starting to show its age a bit (showers, older carpets and living room furniture etc), but everything was clean and pleasant, so not much of a concern for me. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for utensils and food prep, huge fridge with great ice maker, and we had plenty of soap, toiletries, and everything else to make our stay comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful time here, and I would gladly stay again, thanks!

Rating Details: The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were displaced after Aloha allowed a sale of the unit we had rented for 2 weeks over Christmas 2019. Our two year reservation was not honored, and we were then moved to this unit for Christmas 2020. Unlike the one we had originally rented, its not on the water. There is a little ocean view. Carpet needs to be replaced. TVs are the size of a computer monitor. Furniture and rugs are old. But, we were in Maui, and spent most of our time at the beach or on the golf course. Although the unit is right next to the montage trash area, it is a nice proximity to Kapalua beach. If we had received a refund and didn’t pay premium beach front pricing, I may have had a different take on the unit. However we were quite frustrated paying premium for this older unit further off the water.

What a pleasure it is to wake up to a beautiful view from the vista of the upper bedroom each morning. Many exciting beaches and natural features are all nearby. You are steps from some of the most beautiful places and marine life. On our last day, we had a sea turtle named Merlin come out on the beach in front of our chairs. That was exciting to see and enjoy.The villa was more than we could have anticipated. Everything was clean, neat and well taken care of.We found the villa to be located close to many places we chose to visit or any of the restaurants. There are many good restaurants nearby. One restaurant within walking distance is the Sea House restaurant. There are many others.I would definitely recommend the Kapalua Bay Villas to anyone who wants an exceptional place to stay. We have many wonderful memories from our stay that we won't soon forget.

The location was perfect, the pool and tennis courts were only a few steps away, as well as easy access to the pool AND beach area at the Montage right next door. On the other side was access to a trail out to lava rock cliffs where we walked each morning and were greeted by sea turtles big and small! The view was phenomenal from the common area as well as the bedroom upstairs. Each morning we woke up looking out at the ocean! The property was clean, but you can definitely tell the carpet and furniture is older. Vicky was great to work with and actually called us the day before arrival to let us know there would be construction happening during our stay and offered another property or a discounted rate which I really appreciated because the noise was a bit intrusive! I will definitely recommend Aloha Vacation Villas and will stay here again in the future!

The common space looked newly-renovated with a tile floor and lovely furniture. Many nearby restaurants were busy so we enjoyed two takeout dinners at the villa, all the while watching the beautiful sunsets. The bedrooms did not look renovated but most everything was in fine working order with comfortable beds, plenty of towels and quality toiletries.Our activities: The golf at the Bay Course & Plantation Course was spectacular - views views views! Our 24 mile bike ride down Haleakala with Maui Bombers was fun and fulfilled the need for speed. And our walk along the Coastal Trail (literally steps from the villa) was jaw-droppingly beautiful and not to be missed. A few minor problems: The air conditioner in the common space was not working but a portable (loud) air conditioner unit was provided. It wasn't overly hot, though, so opening the louvers provided wonderful breezes that kept us comfortable. The door to the lanai in bedroom #2 did not open. I would caution guests about the ups and downs of the bathroom shower/bath (an older guest could slip & fall). Also, the provided concierge service, Jesse, sent a welcome email but never answered our email - we had requested assistance with restaurant reservations. Deb, from Aloha Vacation Villas, on the other hand, was very professional & kind to call and check on us. Thank you so much. In conclusion, we highly recommend this villa.
