Cute two-bedroom cottage nestled in the woods beside a beautiful romantic wedding venue! Sleeps 4 comfortable but can supply you with a blow-up bed on legs if we know prior to check in for an additional $40. There is a couch in the sunroom off of the master bedroom that would be suitable for younger adults. House has an open den with gas logs in the fireplace! Nice wrap-around deck overlooking the wooded lot. You are close to downtown but feel like you are way out in the country once you get settled into this cozy cottage.

Relaxing in the country

I wish I'd had more time to explore the area. The home is just beautiful and the decor is exceptional. Plenty of things to read, games to play, television, wi-fi, the works! Lots of seating and the master bed was so comfortable, I didn't want to get up. Great adult atmosphere.

Best VRBO out there

The owners have beautifully decorated and stocked this lovely home. The attention to detail and decor is masterfully created. The furniture is all comfortable and welcoming. The beds were so comfortable and had all the pillows and extra blankets you could ever need. Extras like the record player, ping pong table, fireplace, games and books give guests plenty to fill their free time. Staying here feels like a true vacation. The location is perfect for feeling remote yet being close to stores, restaurants and the highway. I’m looking forward to booking more stays here in the future!

3 Generation get-a-way

My mother, daughter and I stayed for a 3 generation get-a-way. All the places I viewed were very nice, neat and clean but I always look for something unique to add to our experience and the Vanstella Cottage was just perfect. Sitting back off the road by itself with the wrap-around porch, facing the woods was so peaceful and the lighting around the woods and property at night was a nice touch. The decor in the house is amazing. There is plenty of light and fresh air with the sliding glass doors and windows. On chilly days and nights you can be cozy by the gas fireplace. The master bedroom is a dream come true with its added patio room. No stairs to climb (inside or out) and a walk in shower is perfect for someone with limited abilities. On arrival we were welcomed with lighting, soft music and a fresh scent throughout the house. The welcome book on the kitchen counter explained everything you would need and the additional information on how the farm venu and cottage were named was interesting to know.. Tucked right off the road but the feel of being secluded. Conveniently located close to Winston Salem, Greensboro, restaurants and shopping for all you need. The owner is an exceptional host, so quick to respond with any concerns you may have. I highly recommend Vansella Cottage for your next stay.

So charming!

This was the perfect little home for our trip. We enjoyed all the antiques throughout the home! The music playing when we entered was a nice touch and my son enjoyed the record player then whole weekend! Hoping to return when it’s warmer to enjoy the back deck and have my morning coffee out there.

Ambience, decor, and style are wonderful. Patio is great to see the woods. AC didn’t work, power went out, and the bed in the master is terribly sunk in on one side. Nowhere accommodating for usb plugs.

EXTREMELY SATISFIED!

When I seen the listing I thought the pictures were beautiful for such a reasonable price. I was a bit skeptical because it’s in the woods so I kept scrolling. Somehow I kept coming back to it for the reasonable price and all the other great reviews. Let me tell you! Im so happy I went with it! Was wowed as soon as we pulled up! It’s beautiful from the outside and NOT deep into the woods at all, not to the point of scary. Check in was so simple. Walked into stunning aesthetic with soft music playing and the most fabulous scent throughout the house. It was very clean,and fullfilling. The host executed on every need a guest cld possibly want for all ages! The bed and bedding was more comfortable than my own bed. You can smell the freshness of the sheets.The exquisite decor is next level! Great if you like to take pictures with beautiful back drops. The intricate detailing of this cozy space is simply wonderful!! The sunroom and sound of nature is a little piece of heaven! My son had a tournament in Greensboro. It was only 18 mins from the cottage. The freeway is mins away as well as every convenience store you may need. With surrounding restaurants if you don’t want to cook. My 17 and 9 yr old was even impressed! We will certainly stay again the next time we have to stay in the area!

My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay at your lovely home. It really took my breath away when we entered. Every room was so cooly decorated. You are quite the interior decorator. Cozy-Upscale-Wooded escape!

My coworker and I rented this house Sunday through Friday for a week at work in Winston-Salem. The house is in a very rural and quiet setting yet is only a couple of minutes from the interstate making it so convenient! Everything from the stocked kitchen to the thoughtful linens everywhere made this such a great stay. We enjoyed Angie’s decorating most of all! Truly a gem of a house.

Amazing Cottage

First of all, I didn’t want to come home! We were attending a wedding at Willstella. I knew we were going to be close but I had no idea we could walk across the road and be there. (Btw willstella is beyond amazing as well) Angie is an amazing hostess. Great communication and fabulous decorator!! The cottage has such charm. The old stereo was a great touch along with everything else in the house. The sunroom and deck were so relaxing. They have really thought of everything. Truly didn’t want to come. Spent the Memorial Day weekend at this property due to it's ideal location between Greensboro and Winston-Salem. Perfect set-up for two adults as we alternated between hiking and visiting each city. It was clean and comfortable with everything one needs in the kitchen. We only used one bedroom and the bed was comfortable. I was impressed that the host turned on the ice maker in the refrigerator before we arrived. There was also salt, pepper and sugar in the kitchen. So we didn't have to buy the basics. The area felt safe and the outdoor spaces were beautiful. I wish we had time to enjoy the cottage more. We were in the area on business, not vacation.
